We would not be talking about him because he would not be interested in the job. -

It does change how one should interpret the overall record. If coach A and coach B had the same record at two teams in the same league with a balanced round robin style schedule, a priori one would assume that the coaches are pretty equivalent. If I then add the additional information that Coach A has a starting 5 of Lebron, Seth, Davis... and Coach B's best two players are IUFLA (no offense intended if you are actually a good player) and myself then one might reassess that coach B is much better. -

+1 I do not follow the NBA much, but sometimes raw stats can be misleading. I do not get the "63" is too old thing. I would rather get the right person in now, even if it means they will only be here for 8-10 years. I -

Reading this, I realize we are insane as a fan base. If Roy Williams was in play we would say: He is too old and has not made it past the sweet 16 since 2017 If Coach K: He is too old and did not even make the tournament this year. If Jay Wright: he does not understand Indiana and has only won at Villanova - may not be able to coach in the big ten. Also did not win any tournament games at Hofstra. ... -

I don't think he was insulting us. He seemed sincere (even if the Boston stuff was over the top). I would love to hate him, but if anything I felt for him even more. -

I listened to it... took me awhile to do it. But, I think he was just sincere. I think we overestimated our ability to entice him. -

Then we pay Brad $7 mill to be the ball-boy who happens to discuss things a lot in the huddle. There are always ways around things. Edit: Come home Brad! -

Maybe we judge Goodman too harshly. He did mention that West Lafayette is the place where the sun doesn't shine... Come home Brad! -

I thought the convention was that you earn the C when you become the IU coach. So he is BS right now, but will (hopefully) be CBS next week. -

Thanks. Then I will go with the theory that Brad is a good guy and wants this to go as well as possible for the Celtics! -

Maybe nobody owes anyone anything, but they might be giving the Celtics time to work out how they want this to go down as a courtesy. -

It is understandable not to want to be associate with UK :) and "UO" might worry students about the cost of attending! -

Let them be happy that we hire Brad... I am Ok with it! Personally, I do want our games with PU to be competitive - just we win 4 out of 5.
