    My son's kindergarten class made "Leprechaun traps"...if he catches one I'll make sure he uses his wish for Brad Stevens to come to IU.

    Agreed. I saw/heard lots of people thinking he was a "Yes Man" and would be a dud as athletic director...but so far color me impressed. I don't think he could have handled things better thus far...now here's hoping he gets his "white whale".

    Scott Dolson will become immortalized at IU if he manages to land Brad Stevens.

    I agree with this. MSU is down right now and IU is doing well. If IU can get a few consecutive years of 8+ wins I see no reason the Hoosiers can't make that jump (long term). The coaching is already very good and logic would state that the recruiting will continue to improve with a winning image.

    Obviously, I would be over the moon if we get Brad, but I would happily take any of those 4 and be excited for the future of IU hoops again. Thanks for sharing that @Chris007!

    Like almost everyone, I am really hoping for Stevens, but my gut is telling me it's Scott Drew or Beard.

    If his mom really texted Archie what was reported, I have to believe he is far more likely to stay with new coach rather than if Archie remained.

    I'm guessing Dolson has confidence in a replacement from the various stories breaking and what Chris has mentioned.

    I don't know Dolson at all, but if he is working with others and negotiating with CAM etc, I would think Monday is likely. Gives them time to get their ducks in a row so to speak.

    Last I heard...Drew would come to IU if they made a serious offer to him. I have not heard much the past week or so, however. My take is that if IU seriously wants Scott, they could most likely get him.

    I am far from an insider, but my wife's family does know the Drew family quite well...although more Bryce and Homer than Scott.

    I'm not sure how I feel about being labeled "Purdue Jockstrap" ha, but thanks for the welcome. I have posted on last two HSN boards and have frequented this site as well as it is the only other board I feel has a good temperament and civil IU discussions.
