    Ah screw it I don’t care. I’m happy. Maybe I’m just a sucker for some of these “coming home” posts and quotes on social media (and the amazing photos IU has put out). But I’m tired of being negative about the program, which I’ve been for 10+ years..

    I don’t want to paste a bunch of random tweets but the overwhelming sentiment about Woody from Knicks’ fans has been incredibly grateful and positive. Just thought that was interesting and perhaps something to consider for those who slandered his nba record.

    Also where is the idea coming from that CC would run a modern offense? We have no idea. He’s never even been in charge of implementing a system. We have no idea what he would actually run and what it would look like.

    Yes he can relate to 18 year olds. Do we think he is not interacting with: RJ Barrett. MitchRob. Quickly. Toppin. Knox??? all players 22 years old or younger. If anything, Woodson has the MOST experience relating to young basketball players. Where did this idea come from that he can’t? Because of his age? Day to day reality says something drastically different.

    True but nobody said this when a ton of people were saying the fact that Woodson hasn’t gotten another HC since the Knicks is an indictment of his coaching ability.

    I don’t get this. People discredited Mike Woodson (who has real nba coaching experience!) because he has never recruited before. But we are fine with CC who has never even been the lead assistant at a P5 program and whose recruiting abilities are completely unknown?

    Hate to be that guy but Fournier has been pretty good this year. 20/3/4 with a few 3s a game. Not exactly a blockbuster but it’s a decent sized move

    I think continuing to hold out any hope for BS will just make the disappointment around the eventual non-BS hire that much greater. I think he’s made his preference loud and clear.
