Who knows, maybe he doesn't want to send his son to Turdue after Biggie went there, or maybe he likes Woody better than Painter.

My guess is to play on a team in a conference that is more NBA-style to increase his chances to getting to the league. The grind it out style of the B1G has been discussed/debated in regards to not being attractive to high level recruits. Woodson's NBA pedigree changed his mind IMO. Howard at Michigan is the only other coach in the B1G that has similar appeal and he's killing it on the recruiting trail.

IMO he doesn't feel/think about IU at all. He's focused on his team. He won't think about IU until he's fired (whenever that is) and he'll have a few moments of "what could have been" before taking the Pacers or another NBA job.

Consistent success put us at #5, add in banner #6 probably puts us in top 3 given that UNC lost Roy to retirement, Coach K likely to retire soon, UK had a down year and G-League and/or elimination of OaD rule may hamper them (and their last title was almost a decade ago already), and KU/Self could (but likely won't) get hit with sanctions and their last title was 2008.
