Crean misused that roster about as badly as one could. Not that it should have been a great team, but the talent was there for an NCAA tourney birth. We weren't the only B1G team to lose a lot of talent either. And we had Yogi, Sheehey and Vonleh.

Different players in different roles. Sheehey was great in his role his sophomore and junior years. Unfortunately the team we had his senior year was very... Unfortunate.

The NBA is changing rapidly. What happened 3 years ago really doesn't even matter now. But there was a time Rondo was one of the best point guards in the league. Couldn't shoot a lick but he controller an offense with Garnett, Ray Allen and Pierce in it. The amount of point guards in today's game? Not many. Just a bunch of combo guards who get told to play point guard.

Sure it's "more skilled." Yet at the same time, the basketball is worse and the IQ is down. The specialist are nowhere to be found.

It's sad how far the league has went away to finding spots for good basketball players. JHS doesn't need to be a scorer. Just someone that can control the floor. Could you imagine telling Rondo he couldn't be on the floor with the Big 3 because he couldn't shoot? It'd get your fired. Or Andre Miller? One day the NBA will make its way back around to playing actual basketball and not just how many 3s you can shoot.

NBA wants to be a league of "Jack of trades, master of none" and just chucking 3s.

Took him minute but had a solid game. 14 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, 1 steal, 1 block in 20 minutes. Started the game 1-4 from the floor and finished 6-9. Had 3 or 4 dunks.

Wagner looks pretty good. Edwards reminds me of MKG. Kid will be a hell of a defender. Their problem will be interior defense. But they have the speed on the perimeter to play great defense.

Things really started moving when Carlisle was hired. I think he's a quite a bit of input on who to draft and sign and I guarantee he pushed for the Sabonis-Haliburton trade. I'm not sure the roster looks anywhere near what it does if Pritchard was still running the show by himself.
