I only expected 5 out of him. The entire plan for Woodson should have been 5 years at max unless he was absolutely killing it(he isn't close). Let him bring together past and present. Get some sort of stability(still trying to get there). And then pass it on. There isn't anyone currently on the bench worth the job or that could even coach to begin with, that's pretty clear. CBB really doesn't have any big time up and comers. Just not the state things are in now. Gonna have to find a guy and just hope like hell it actually works out. Unless you can recruit like crazy(Scheyer), it's going to be difficult a new coach for a lot of programs. Villanova is seeing it right now. Michigan is seeing it. Ohio State has seen it. UConn went through it. Michigan State, Kansas and Kentucky will find out. Indiana is gonna have to really do their homework to find the next guy and it'll be sooner rather than later.

Kentuckys are losses to Kansas by 5 and UNC-Wilmington UNCs are losses to Nova by 2, UConn by 11 and Kentucky by 4 Dukes are to Arizona by 5, Arkansas by 5 and Georgia Tech by 4 Indianas are to UConn by 20, Auburn by 28 and Kansas by 4... So I guess it depends if you feel losing to UNCW or Georgia Tech are worse or equal to losing by 20 and 28.

We have something holding us down. The fact we have zero good wins in the non conference and the fact in 2 of the 3 games against tourney teams on neutral courts, we got laughed off the court in embarrassing fashion on national television.

It really is one of the weirdest flexes that come from IU fans. But it's really just taking another L.

Big Ten is 20-23 against the Big 12, Big East, Pac-12, SEC and ACC. Thank God for Purdue I guess or the B1G would be 15-23. Wins: Georgetown, Seton Hall x2, Baylor, Butler, St. Johns, Stanford, Oregon State, Kansas State, Alabama x2, UCLA, Xavier, Tennessee, Marquette x2, Arizona, Louisville, Virginia, DePaul Losses: Wake Forest, Duke, Arizona x2, Creighton x2, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Texas A&M x2, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, Oregon, Villanova, Missouri, UConn, Auburn, Kansas, Tennessee x2, Providence, Mississippi State, Marquette Outside of that the Big Ten has wins over Gonzaga(Purdue) and FAU(Illinois). The Big Ten(especially outside of Purdue) hasn't been good. Take out the Xavier, Tennessee, Marquette, Alabama and Arizona wins from Purdue and it looks much worse on the conference.

I mean with the talent they have, it should work. Considering he's a mediocre coordinator... Franklin will probably have a lot of teaching to do on how to actually be a coach. Allen will probably be shocked to hear the foul language that happens in real locker rooms from coaches.

Definitely wasn't supposed to. The 12-13 team was probably better. But, you just have to be playing well in the moment to make a run. All that matters. It's the magic of March Madness. Best team doesn't always win.

I watched all my life because of my family. But my earliest memories of actually watching games is the 2002 run. I was 8 at the time. Was absolutely wild driving through town in the back of the truck honking(we live an hour south of BTown but people knew).
