Getting to .500 would be huge. Have to protect home court for once because we have 5 home games left. Though I believe we can beat Northwestern and Michigan State on the road, with likely losses to Michigan and Iowa at home.

According to ESPN, likelihood to win in the rest of our games.. Illinois 40% Iowa 31% Northwestern 63.5% Ohio State 34.3% Minnesota 69.4% Michigan State 70.9% Rutgers 48.1% Michigan 39.6% Purdue 49% That puts at 12-13(7-11) without any makeup games.

Well it's a trash system made by a trash organization. But this season "road wins" mean jack squat. They are all the same. No difference playing in the Maui tourney vs playing in Iowa or even Bloomington. Same goes for everyone else.

There aren't many good benches in the NBA. Maybe a player or 2 at best. Once it gets to the playoffs, Tatum, Brown and Kemba will probably be playing 40+ a game with Smart not too far behind.

This is a year where the NET needs thrown in the trash. Everything should really be considered neutral with no fans. Eye test will be more important than ever.

The Celtics will trade Stevens when they get 45 picks for a 35 year old Tatum on a decline. Probably to Brooklyn.

What kind of social media exposure do you believe the program has outside of the universities accounts?

I don't really understand what Izzo was doing this season. Had Watts, Henry, Bingham, Brown returning from a good team. Langford healthy. Hauser eligible to play. That alone is a good Top 6 and a top 6 that knows what it takes to win. And after losing Tillman, Bingham seemed like the guy to fill in as a long athletic guy.. but almost never plays.

Well we are talking about college basketball. Not life.

Villanova also has a brand of winning in modern times and in the day and age of hyper social media. Indiana is considered a joke and a fossil. You clearly don't understand kids these days. They may have a remote, but they aren't likely to turn it. They are going to see most things in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and whatever else. Recruits are more likely to find an NBA game than a college game anyways.

Sweet. So we are making our national perception even worse actually. I know you don't think it matters, but who do you think we are more worried about seeing us? Some 40 year olds watching or recruits just catching glimpses of games? Are they more likely to have ESPN on or FS1/BTN? Things like that are important. Even if you don't want to admit it. And considering Archie's recruiting has hit a massive wall... Someone must have been paying attention somewhere... Going to guess it wasn't the 40 year old basketball junkie.

You may not care about our national perception, but it's incredibly important. Whether you like it or not. We've been on ESPN zero times this season. We finally get an ESPN2 game against Illinois. Why? Who wants to watch Indiana anymore other than Indiana fans? No one.

A struggling program was set to show how much it is struggling on national television. Thankfully this season everything has been on BTN or FS1 rather than ESPN.

I'm saying it never needs to even be brought up. No one cares that we should have made the tourney. We didn't have an awesome Top 4 seed taken away from us. It's a meaningless talking point. The "context" around last season doesn't need to include anything about the NCAA tourney. It can stop after mentioning a below .500 conference record and getting whooped by Purdue.

So I guess it takes critical thinking to understand that "should have gotten into the tourney" is a worthless talking point. Why? No one made the tourney. Because a 10 seed doesn't help Archie's case. We had an entire regular season was enough to put Archie into a hole.

We can still look at last year. Which was 9-11 in conference, good for 10th in conference. He was 7-3 at in conference but 2-8 on the road. His legacy at Indiana is a Devonte Green chest code game, beating Michigan State, beating his first Top 5 team in Iowa and getting whooped by Purdue multiple times.

They still need a #1. They honestly should have traded Warren over the summer. Super cheap contract and probably could have gotten some pieces from him because he's definitely not staying after this season. They are still a first round exit probably. Not near a contender. Don't see anyway they compete with Milwaukee, Boston, Philly, Brooklyn once it gets to playoff time.
