  4. "Now you see the momentum building” “This year showed that Indiana has a chance to compete for Big Ten titles” "You’re going to see more recruits wanting to talk to Tom Allen" Three independent national voices opine on the trajectory of IU football. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/taking-stock-national-voices-opine-on-state-of-iu-football-and-recruiting-after-consecutive-strong-seasons/
  5. No I don't know the significance of that date. I seem to recall he has a December birthday, but not sure if that's it.
  6. I hear you. I think some of it is just Miller's name. Archie is so unique that you are kind of drawn to it. You don't hear anyone calling Painter by his first name, and so on. When I interviewed Dra this summer he was very much a "yes sir" "no sir" kind of kid.
  7. Q&A with Gibbs Lawhorn on IU, recruiting, injury and transfer. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-qa-with-2023-in-state-guard-dravyn-gibbs-lawhorn-on-rehab-recruiting-transfer/
  8. It is going to be very soon after if not on Dec. 15.
  9. I'm going with IU 27 Rutgers 17. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-football-game-day-rutgers-primer-and-prediction-2/
  10. PSU 31 IU 27 https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-football-game-day-penn-state-primer-and-prediction-2/
  11. Trey Kaufman already told us he would do it. Another player told me he would too but didn't want it public. All three would be contingent on high school seasons being canceled -- and all three are from different states -- so lots of variables.
  12. I caught up with Washington for a lengthy Q&A. Absolute high character high academic 5-star talent who is looking to finally have a healthy season. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-class-of-2022-in-state-5-star-jalen-washington-on-rehab-recruiting-and-upcoming-season/
  13. Caught up with Aire over the weekend. He has a pretty interesting story. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-recruiting-fast-emerging-2022-big-man-favour-aire-learning-more-about-indiana/
  14. I think skepticism makes sense. I would still say Kentucky is the favorite. I am just reporting what I was told. If you wanted to spin to the positive side, he committed a year ago to Louisville. There was certainly no need to commit that early if he wanted to wait to see if UK, Duke, etc. would come calling. The family also doesn't seem like the type that is in awe of Kentucky or anything like that.
  15. Afternoon naps huh? Okay, I'm taking notes.
  16. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/this-date-in-iu-football-history-september-11-2004-the-hoosiers-stun-oregon-in-eugene/
  17. Kenya is keeping you and me busy. Thanks as always for sharing.
  18. See who changed numbers, what numbers are the freshmen wearing, who gained and lost weight, how is the roster distributed across classes and positions, how many players are from Indiana, and much more. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-new-numbers-weights-position-and-scholarship-distribution-and-more-on-the-updated-2020-21-roster/
  19. I believe this is old news. Not going to happen.
  20. Avery Brown spoke to our friends at the Hoosier Experience Podcast. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/listen-iu-basketball-class-of-2022-point-guard-target-avery-brown-on-the-hoosier-experience-podcast/
  21. I'm not defending Warren. It is his job to take the bullets. But if he is being told to shut up by the schools, his hands are pretty much tied.
  22. A lot of people just don't understand how these decisions are made and "shoot the messenger."
  23. Let's face it, if Kentucky wanted to start recruiting Mohammed they could have done that at any time irrespective of Bruiser. I wouldn't worry about that.
