I’ve said it before, but it bares repeating - this kid will end up being a steal when all is said and done.

Bracketology today still has us as a 4-seed. I don’t fully understand that. We did move to the Bridgeport region opposite 1-seed NC State, but still not ideal playing a 1 before the elite eight. Win today and I think we’re safely a 3-seed bumping Iowa off that line. Still can’t imagine how a run beating MD, OSU, Iowa doesn’t impress enough to get a 2-seed. Especially considering our late season losses were without our AA. I remember Iowa men’s team back with Luke Recker winning four games to win the B1G tourney and moving from a projected 7 seed up to the 2 or 3 line, so these conference tourney wins can move your seed quite a bit.

Game plan for tomorrow is pretty obvious. Iowa is a two-woman team. Granted they’re both talented, but defInitely do our best to make somebody else beat us. Clark and Czinano scored 63 of Iowa’s 83 points tonight. They took 38 (!) shots between the two of them. NCH on Clark hounding her all around the court. We’re a more complete team. Need to show it.

IU women will be hosting first two rounds of NCAA tourney which is the same weekend as the NIT, so men would have to play on the road regardless of seed from what I understand.

I had been in the corner of saying four games in four days might not be a good idea. But I’ve changed my tune. A) I didn’t realize women’s selection Sunday wasn’t immediately following the conference champ game, so we’ve got some time to regroup. B) This team is getting more confidence with Mack back in the lineup, and Chloe becoming a key part of it, by the day. So let’s go for it tomorrow. Also of note, our win over Miami is looking better everyday, and our loss to Nebraska too. Both probably top 25 teams by next week now. I think we deserve a 3-seed as we stand now. Win tomorrow and hard for me to understand how we shouldn’t be a 2-seed with those wins. We would be 6-6 against AP ranked teams. UCONN is 3-2 again the AP.

It’s been an absolute pleasure watching this team compete the last three days. It’s been so long since I’ve felt that way about our Men’s team who is my first passion. It feels great to be so proud of the way they play and have your expectations met every time you tune in even though it’s against a tough opponent. Very grateful for what this team is giving us fans. We’re behind you all the way girls. One more!

This is just a really fun team to watch play. They always show up.

Chloe has really developed so well over the course of the season. Moren rewarded her with a start and she took advantage and played a great first half. I am on record as saying trying to win four in four days isn’t wise - but screw it, let’s go get that tourney title girls.

New bracketology has us still a 4-seed, and in South Carolina’s region. Not a good situation for us. I think one more win gets us to the 3 line which is a much easier path to the elite 8. Of the teams above us, I don’t understand Iowa State and UCONN the most. ISU hasn’t beat anybody and lost two games by 25+ points in the last 2 weeks of the season. UCONN gets the benefit of be it UCONN, but they don’t play anyone either. Their last three conference games they won by 40+ and the opponent scored less than 39 points in the game.

I don’t see how that game doesn’t flip-flop us and Maryland and get us a 3-seed in the NCAA tourney. We beat them twice head to head and we’re now 21-7 to their 21-8. We should get a bump to the three line.

That was closer to a flop than an offensive foul on Berger. Weak call.

That was a rough quarter. Fortunate to get that run-out at the end to keep the lead at six. Offensive rebounds for Maryland killing us. Need Some production from Grace to hold them off and finish this one. Let’s go girls!

Good stretch of play to start the second quarter. Gotta continue to sag into the lane on defense and force Maryland to beat us from the outside. And keep getting out in transition. Owusu is not in game shape and hasn’t been getting back on defense after missed shots giving us numbers.

Good start. Defense was great.

I still don’t believe it’s in our best interest to try and win four games in four days. But Id like to see us beat Maryland today. Think that would get us into the 3-seed in the tourney and avoid playing a 1-seed until the Elite 8. If Grace and Aleksa can have a good game I like our chances. We seem to go as they go right now.

Good to see Ali continue to find her shooting stroke, but Mack just looks like a shell of herself and that's going to make it tough for this really talented team to make as much noise in the tourney. With how thin our rotation is, it honestly might not be a bad thing if we don't win four games in four days and can rest for next weekend.

We’re too talented and have too much veteran leadership to be one and done in the big dance. I agree, they look burnt. Four games in 8 days will do that to anybody, especially with how thin we are. But they’re still playing well, just tired. I think we can beat MD, but don’t expect us to. Honestly, an early exit in the B1G tourney might not be the end of the world. Give us a solid week to rest before hopefully hosting a couple tourney games in B-town as a 3/4 seed. Still have a lot of confidence in this group. Just some tough luck with injuries and how the schedule played out due to COVID.

Ran out of fouls and bigs there. Good effort on the road. We need Mack to find a rythym in the next few weeks. Looking like a three seed at best. Need to get the guards some rest somehow and figure out how to integrate Mack back into the offense.

NCH playing really well. CMM with some big buckets off the bench too.

Much better effort out of the gates tonight. If we had this start at home on Saturday we would have beaten them handily with our 42 point 4th quarter. Mack still getting her sea legs back.

This is unfortunately kind of predictable. We are notoriously thin and only go 6-7 deep. With Mack missing time, we’ve got a team with a lot of minutes on those legs in the past couple months.

Anybody know where the game is being broadcast? ESPN preview says the game is tomorrow at 5pm ET, but don’t think that’s right.
