Thought this would be interesting. The first stat line is Trey Galloway's freshman season. The second is the stat line from another 6'4 wing with whom you're all familiar. Can you guess who it is? MPG: 19.6; FG% 41.7; 3P% 18.2; FT% 73.7; REB 1.9; AST 1.6; BLK 0.0; STL 0.4; TO 1.0; PTS 3.6 MPG: 17.1; FG% 45.0; 3P% 24.3; FT% 68.3; REB 2.1; AST 1.5; BLK 0.1; STL 1.0; TO 1.4; PTS 3.3

Keion Brooks isn't going to be a college junior because he wants a degree; he's going to be a college junior because he isn't good enough to make an NBA roster.
-
Has Woodson not realized that Brooks can’t shoot worth a damn either?
-
I’d take Galloway over Brooks all day, without question. He has the highest basketball IQ on the team. If he’s “pushed out” for a guy that’s been pedestrian at best, I’m gonna be f****** p*****.
-
I’m admittedly biased in that I have no interest in Brooks after he snubbed us for one of our most hated rivals. That said, why would we be interested in a guy that shot 26% from 3 and 48% from the field? I thought the idea was to get away from players that can’t shoot.

(2022) - SF Alex Karaban to UConn

I definitely wouldn't mind opening up an IMG pipeline... -
I feel the same about highlight videos but there were 3 things that immediately stuck out to me as well. 1. I don't think his percentages were a fluke. He has pretty good form on his jump shot. 2. He appears comfortable both going to the basket and finishing with either hand. 3. He looks to distribute and doesn't appear to hunt for his shot.
-
I'm not too worried about Galloway. He may not light up the stat sheet but his basketball IQ is too high to keep him off the court. I'd think Woodson understands the value of a guy that understands his role and puts his teammates in the best position to succeed.

This was a guy we recruited pretty heavily IIRC.

He said it during the press conference before today’s game. Basically said “I lived IU as a kid but I’m not a kid anymore.” Something to that effect. -

Lol I’m with you man. The Pats comment pissed me off and the Colts aren’t even my favorite team. It’s just disrespectful AF to say that knowing Indiana people are gonna watch that presser. And him talking about the love he has for the state but he’s not a kid anymore and considers himself a “masshole.” I’ve lived in Florida almost as long as he’s been in Boston and will never consider myself anything but a Hoosier. Makes me feel like he was never a Hoosier to begin with. -

Leal and Galloway have said they’re staying, but there’s no guarantee the others will be here. Which is disappointing, because both have tremendous upside. -

Hopefully that’s the case, but having been a student at IU during the Sampson saga I feel the PTSD creeping up. -

Well I will get some satisfaction out of Celtics fans reactions if it comes out that Steven’s was given a raise in the midst of a seven game slide. -

I hope to god this isn’t the case. We could be looking at a Crean-era type of rebuild with this year’s transfer rules. -

I know it’s petty but the masshole and Patriots comments were a low blow IMO. If he had stuck to his initial remarks I would’ve said ok, on to the next one. When he made those remarks it was more like “wow, **** this d-bag.” -

I know people don’t want to hear it but IF Stevens and/or his wife were negotiating for 2 months with the knowledge they would take a matching offer from Boston, they were absolutely playing us. -

The backstory kind of implies the individuals putting up millions would’ve done so with the impression we were getting Stevens. -

My question now is...let’s say Steven’s leveraged our offer to get more out of Boston. Did he also impact our ability to get money out of donors in the future. I’d be pretty pissed if I shelled out $10M for a result I didn’t get... -

Steven’s gave a pretty resounding “no, I’m not considering IU.” Even went as far as to call himself a “masshole who roots for the Patriots.” -

I’m just watching that thinking “damn, I wish I were in a position to turn down a $30M raise.” Also disappointed but not that surprised the “insider info” appears to be incorrect. -

It was Harry & Izzy's and everyone just thought "No, that can't be him. Brad Stevens would be at St. Elmos."
