Nothing to hang their heads about. IU played well, Arizona is just on another level and my favorite to win it all. They’re a mismatch nightmare for everyone with their size and athleticism. Their guard play is ridiculous and can shoot. I liked our chances better at Kansas honestly.

This was my thoughts too. I think it would be hard for an official to make that call at that time.

They look like the #1 team. They certainly deserve to be ranked 1st after this weekend. Nearly impossible to guard. Basically have to shoot 70%+ from 3 to beat them.

Will not be surprised if Purdue wins the PK Legacy tournament. They look really good! Team not as talented as last year but a lot more disciplined and much deeper.

Anybody else worried that Hunter Thompson just unleashed the stomach virus on our whole team??? If so, we’re done for. That stuff is highly contagious and spreading like crazy. I had Covid twice and the stomach bug recently and I’d rather have Covid a thousand times over that again. 24 hours of hell and confined to a bathroom.

Do you think with a Davidson loss, they could move down to the 11 and we move up to a 10? I saw a great comparison of teams over the past 10 years with our metrics/resume and the average seed was 9.7. Could really see the committee giving us a 10 with a possible matchup with Kentucky as the 2 in the next round. Every year there seems to be a team get a much higher seed than originally expected and I think it may be us because of possible matchups.

Anyone else think he put this out intentionally so the committee doesn’t hold his injury against us??? I think it’s a smart move and wouldn’t be surprised if he was told to put that out there even if he’s not really returning.
