When both are healthy, why does the coaching staff prefer Penix over Ramsey??? They see these guys play and practice every day so you must think our coaching staff is absolutely incompetent and should probably go talk to Glass for the job. Allen has said it time and time again that Penix is a special talent and this is his team when healthy...I just don’t see why you don’t see it like the rest of us and the coaching staff do. Just go back and rewatch that game and watch the releases on both QBs throws and how quick the ball is in the receivers hands once Penix throws compared to Ramsey. Ramsey’s arm strength isn’t even close. Our receivers weren’t having to wait/come back to the ball like they do with Ramsey. I love Ramsey and the toughness he brings and the fact that he can manage the offense when Penix goes out, but to keep saying that he’s better is a little ridiculous. This will be the last post from me about the QB situation because it’s so old and tired and not worth trying to make someone comprehend what the rest of us (and the coaches) do. Penix: 5 drives...3 TDS, 1 FG, 1 punt Ramsey: 6 drives, 1 TD, 1 FG, 4 punts Penix is 10-15 with 166 total yards and 1 TD. Ramsey is 7-10 with 109 yards and 1 TD...how are Ramsey’s numbers better? I’ll take 80% scoring on drives compared to 33% all day...maybe that’s just me. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Penix was given 5 drives and scored on 4 of them...it’s not his fault he had short fields, what matters is that he converted them into TDs . Ramsey has had 3 drives and punted on each and has barely made it to midfield. People are just stating why Penix is the #1 option WHEN HE IS HEALTHY especially against good defenses. There’s really no debate. I stand behind Ramsey because he is our man right now but if Penix is healthy, he’s our man and there’s no doubt about it. I would like to think our coach who makes millions to operate a football team knows more than us fans do. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

EVERYONE needs to get behind Ramsey. His toughness is what this team needs to embody the rest of the season. Still have a chance to win 9 and make this one of the most special seasons in IU program history! Also, win this and IU Football WILL be ranked...we can at least say that for 2 weeks with the bye. Let’s enjoy it! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

IU vs Gannon Game Thread
BGVille Hoosierfan replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Duke beat NW Missouri State 69-63 a couple days ago. Don’t look too much into these games, especially when you’re missing 2 key players. Michigan State won a national championship and in the same year lost an exhibition game. These games are to get the freshmen’s feet wet, tinker with lineups and is nothing more than a glorified practice to give these kids a different look than what they’ve been use to all summer. It’s the same as preseason football, can’t put any stock into these games. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
My friend who is a diehard Purdue fan went to the Purde fan fare a few weeks ago and said he left unimpressed and didn’t understand the hype from the media. Said he’d be happy with a tourney appearance this year. People are really underestimating the loss of both Cline (arguably the best shooter in the country) and Edwards (arguably the best scorer in the country). Impossible to replace those 2 guys along with another starter in Eiffert who was a glue guy. High expectations for both the football and basketball program and both could fall flat on their face this year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
