Wow. There are some very bad predictions in this thread.

There was a group of fans that claimed they sent letters to IU recruits. Said group was not IU fans as much as they were RMK fans. Not sure if they deterred any recruits as that was 20 years ago. That was sad times for IU basketball for countless reasons.

After three, you have a pretty good idea as to what the coach is going to be able to do. Looking back at the last two coaches, I knew Archie wasn't going to make it after year two, RL & JM and he loses 13 out of 14 or something like that. Crean was a little different, I believe it was year three when he had some of his recruits and then Mo Creek went down against UK and IU struggled after that. The Syracuse game was when I checked out on Crean. I think this is accurate; although there have been many Busch Latte's drank & gummies consumed since then so my years may be a little off. With the transfer portal, three years is adequate time to get things rolling.
