    Completely off the rails is finishing 6th in an 18 team league? With programs like USC, UCLA ahead of us? That's nuts. If that's off the rails, we gotta start actually caring about baseball from a university standpoint.

    Competed to host? Lol I have some ocean front property for you. We started 5 FR A LOT of games this season and rolled with 4 nearly every game. Honestly bringing a possibility to host? That's crazy. No. That was never in the fold. Last season we probably easily host of Sinnard and Grable are healthy.

    how so? we have 3 interior DL committed now and signed 3 more in this most recent class. I guess maybe you think one or two of them can play SDE.... but the depth chart is absolutely a factor in kids decisions. Also weird to set a commitment date 6 weeks in advance, but JMO.

    Distance and pitchers park. Like have you looked at where Omaha is on a map? I didn't say it wasn't a nice facility. I said it sucks for a conference tourney, my opinion won't change on that. Play it at Wrigley.... heck, Fort Wayne's facility is beautiful..

    omaha just sucks for the conference tourney, tbh Being as they'll never let Indy host with it 500 weekend.... this tourney should be played in Columbus OH

    That stroke shot 26.9% in conference play, if you take out his first game of the season, he shot 31% from 3, and the last 25 games he shot 27%. I would bet he's stupid good at playing PIG, HORSE.... when he gets sped up, he STRUGGLES, especially against top tier athletes.

    I very much want Hawthorne. He and Sisley at the 3/4 in a couple of years looks excellent. Were there any tidbits about him today?

    No, I did. I'm not sure why you're lost. I'm willing to bet you've watched exactly zero film. Saying Bailey is a bad defender while stating Malik was an average one is absolutely astonishing. Nah. Ballo and Malik are trash defensively... use your eyeballs.

    I pretty clearly explained what I was talking about. Ballo and Malik are pathetic defensively, and yeah, of course adding a joke of a defender in MM wasn't going to help anything. None of this is news. "block rate" zzzzzz

    No lol Malik and Ballo are awful defensively. "protect the rim" was actually.. "standing there and being tall" and doing absolutely NOTHING else defensively and as we know, Malik is not only a poor defender, he's an incredibly unaware one. So you can take the height, it clearly didn't help.... I'll take the athletes, foot speed, scheme, and awareness.

    Couldn't be a worse defensive combo than Malik+Ballo, I don't think DDV alters his style of play, especially based on who we've signed.

    I'm not sure why you'd think that. And Hawthorne doesn't see minutes on a good team.

    I know. I'm talking realistically, not the generic, "everyone gets an opp" BS.... He wouldn't get on the court at either of those places THIS SEASON, same at Indiana. Bailey isn't playing the 4, but neither would Hawthorne, this season. And, for the 3rd time, I want Hawthorne.

    We would beat them by probably 100. and dear god, one of them would have to guard Bailey and one of them would have to guard TDV on our offensive end? lol 3 > 2... You've watched the last 8 years of Indiana basketball, right?
