  1. Throwing shade at 22 yrs with 4 Sweet 16's and a FF with 3 SS and the FF in the last 4 seasons, yet advocating for a 25 yr guy with 3 Sweet 16s and 0 FF's. Perfectly logical.
  2. 22 years, 32 years, 2 Sweet 16's 4 sweet 16's and a FF Why let facts get in the way of some good old fashion irrational dislike.
  3. LTFOL, over 30 yrs? Do you think he got his first HC job at 22? It's a little early to be hitting the hard stuff. Don't like the guy, fine, but FFS, you have not posted a single thing that is close to factual about his career.
  4. I believe you have to go to the Sweet 16 to get to the Final Four, I could be mistaken. I think it is on "the road to" something or other, if I recall.
  5. Yeah, kinda meh, but if he was a little more consistent, like say 2 sweet 16's and a Final Four in 3 of the 4 years he coached there that the tournament was held, well then...checks notes.
  6. So, see you Tuesday-ish? Unfortunately, probably sooner.
  7. When people are delusional and allowed to believe what they want, it makes winning the internet sooooo exhausting.
  8. Hmm, why would he not have quoted that? Why would he merely post "sources say."
  9. Now I'm not sure if I want Steven more as a coach or more as an F off to all the Debbie Downers. Unfortunately they will just transition to, "He hasn't coached college basket ball in over a decade..."
  10. This is what everyone is freaking out about? As @Artie86 said, that quote is far from him denying being a candidate and the only source of every article claiming that BS is out. So if Goodman actually talked personally with and got Stevens to say the above quote, why would he not ask him,"So are you not a candidate for the job?" Or did he and the above quote was the response? Everything after this quote about not being a candidate is not a quoted statement and not even something Goodman's has the balls to claim as his own thoughts, but rather "sources say." I don't know what the chances are or have been that Brad Stevens will coach IU, but this vanilla non denial is a giant leap to go to him saying he is not a candidate.
  11. Do you not recognize that: 1)last time it was mid March when Stevenson said he was a Masshole. 2)No coach worth a flip is focused on his next job at the moment. 3)Quinn's influence is gone 4)Dolson can chew gum and walk at the same time.
  12. If the rumor that Few reached out to IU is true he has to rocket to the top of the board.
  13. How do you see that a detriment to the other candidates? Other than the hypothetical that a guy has bad feels that they wanted Brad over him there is none. And you can't honestly think that candidate that wants the job would be that butt hurt do you?
  14. I don't get why people would criticize Dolson for going after BS, which if he would be successful in securing , there would be calls to canonize him, in the time before he can not really accomplish anything with active coaches. And the notion that it somehow is a black mark on IU is laughable. If the hire, May, Few, Cronin, etc in a month and a half, no one will give a sh*t about what Dolson did in Mid February.
  15. Pardon my ignorance, but how did a "sources told"... a vague not a candidate post become this direct Brad Stevens quote? I haven't seen that quote on @Thefieldof68. Not saying it isn't true just wondering where that quote was sourced.
  16. a sixer of any of those beers you favor and confirmation of a, I mean THE, reason to drink them all
  17. Didn't receive please resend.
  18. It's a lovely name for a girl.
  19. Pretty impressive of him to be so prepared after Woody shocked everyone with his retirement announcement out of left field.
  20. Brad on the phone to his parents this morning:
  21. It's not mutually exclusive
  22. Flavor of the month Todd Golden's UF squad up 16on the road, down two starters, against #22 Miss St.
  23. What's your point? They aren't undefeated?
