It's a lovely name for a girl.

Pretty impressive of him to be so prepared after Woody shocked everyone with his retirement announcement out of left field.

Brad on the phone to his parents this morning:

Do those exist?

It's not mutually exclusive

Flavor of the month Todd Golden's UF squad up 16on the road, down two starters, against #22 Miss St.

What's your point? They aren't undefeated?

Did ya now?

Poke at you? What are you talking about? You're the one demanding I answer your narrowly focused question. You choose to ignore everything not coaching that involved in being the leader of a basketball program, where Beard is a unmitigated disaster. I don't. Beard has zero, zilch, nada chance at being IU's HC. And that is a good thing.
-
Relax, you seem to be getting upset. Not denying Beard is a very good coach, but you are the one that needs to ignore key facets of being the leader of a basketball program to justify him as a candidate. Not to mention some key donors, some of which who may be female , may not be copacetic with a drunk woman beater getting their money.
-
You find off the court conduct irrelevant? Joe Paterno says where were you when I needed you. Why would I take away the fact that there is a high likelihood he embarrasses and/or gets a lawsuit against the university sending this program further down the sh*tter away from his positional value as a candidate?

You know isn't in any of the top25 of any ranking. Chris"Hold my beer, never mind I will just chug it" Beard

Pretty much every poll says otherwise. 19. Mick Cronin, UCLA Cronin led UCLA to three straight Sweet 16s and the 2021 national title game before a 16-17 season in 2023-24. Don't count on the former longtime Cincinnati coach having back-to-back down years. Even amid the transition to the Big Ten, Cronin appears to have the right mix of returning talent and transfers required to get the Bruins dancing again. (11) 11. Mick Cronin, UCLA Cronin enjoyed excellent roster continuity during his first four years at UCLA as he improved the Bruins' win total each season, culminating with a dominant run to the Pac-12 regular season title last season. Now comes a retooling season that will put his freshman-oriented roster strategy to the test. But given his excellent 21-year track record across Murray State, Cincinnati and UCLA, there is little doubt Cronin will make it work. His teams have qualified for 12 straight NCAA Tournaments. (9) 16. Mick Cronin, UCLA Speaking about not being used to losing seasons, Mick Cronin is in the same boat as Miller. Cronin had a few of them at Cincinnati, but last year was his first since 2007-08. It’s been a long time. I’d also argue that Cronin’s done a very respectable job as the head coach of the Bruins. It’s a position that comes with a lot of pressure and scrutiny, but he’s handled it well and been a very good tournament coach with the Bruins.

The guy has physically beaten and bit his girlfriend in a DV altercation, that is factual. He has been videoed drunk in a campus bar, alone on Christmas day, being a d*ck to a woman asking for an autograph on a mini basketball, that is factual. He has quit drinking twice and gone back to drinking twice, that is factual. Color me skeptical. Coaching he's a 9 The rest he's a 1 Everyone would constantly be on edge, just waiting for that next ugly headline every moment he coached IU. Doubt big money donors want to shell out with their money behind that.
-
It has been pretty confidently reported that Mark Few has inquired about the job. NIL has changed the landscape for players and coaches.
-
WHat did you think of the game you went to at the O'dome?
-
IU could save on recarpeting if he is coming, he will drowned out the cigar stench with stale spilled beer stains in just a few weeks.
-
You obviously haven't watch UF basketball the last few years.
-
The entire coaching office wing is scheduled for recarpeting to get the stogie stench out.
-
LTFOL Everyone would cream their jeans over Dusty May but Golden is one of the two least inspiring candidates that could be found? You do realize Goldens Gators have beaten the #1 team in the country twice this season, once at home and a complete beatdown of AU on the road? Dusty May may be really good, but the IU grad asst under Knight thing has people stating really silly stuff.
-
Other than potential money, and I don't see them breaking the bank at IU for either, what would be the incentive? Both schools have great basketball history and access to high level recruits. Never been to UL campus, but Gainesville is a great college town, in a better climate, and no taxes. When UF was down a few years back, they don't draw like bad IU but there is also not the delusional fanbase of IU, so that is a plus. Fans fill the place when they are good. I think to get a younger guy that has it rolling it will be one that has is in place that has known limitations, TJ at ISU or Hoiberg at Neb types. I could see an older guys like Few being interested after years of being great but in a limited situation.
