Has anyone else heard Morgan is gone? Logic would say he’s staying but I’m just curious if anyone else has heard this rumor.

IF we end up getting Romeo, I think it well help Green because he won't have to do as much. Last year, he was the only guard who could really create a shot for himself and was our only true playmaker. Hopefully having others to rely on and be in a role where he can be more of a facilitator will be helpful.

Not to mention OSU was noted as Archie's dream job for years while he was at Dayton. I'm sure Holtman had his eyes on IU for a time as well. Very interesting

He plays small forward. I read somewhere that their ideal class would be DJ Carton, Gaffney, EJ Liddel, and TJD. Expect OSU to continue going hard after TJD

Seeing that Mooney expects to make his decision in the next week or so. I presume he’ll want to know what Langford is doing, so I’m thinking we’ll know a lot more about our future roster in two weeks

Man, if Archie can retain the entire 2017 class AND develop Moore and Durham, that would be an easy testiment to how good of a coach he is. If anyone is familiar with Dayton basketball, think of Devin Oliver’s or Kendall Pollard’s development.

Yeah that’s what I meant. Taylor doesn’t want to wait and eliminates IU and commits elsewhere. Langford then chooses Vandy or Kansas. That would suck.

Call me out if I’m wrong, but I would love a lineup of 1. RP or DG 2. Langford 3. Taylor 4. Smith 5. Morgan Bench: Davis, Hunter, McBob, Damezi, etc. This is a big lineup that is athletic and can score. Completely different than last year, and I’d prefer having Davis come off the bench.

I just hope that Langford’s late decision date doesn’t affect us in Taylor’s recruitment. It’s possible that Taylor wants to commit before late April and Romeo commits elsewhere in late April...that’d be worse case scenario.

I wonder if Hurt would be interested in reclassifying? If so, I wonder if Archie has tried. Could be the one thing differentiating is from other big schools

I’ve heard a rumor that Romeo’s girlfriend recently transferred from ISU to IU, but have absolutely nothing to back it up. There’s not much on Romeo’s social media, but does anyone near NA or closer to the family know if he even has a gf?

Yes, Romeo’s play is spectacular. But the intangibles behind his game are almost more amazing. He is humble, dives on the floor, and shows tremendous sportsmanship. Also, I truly believe we land TJD because he is the quintessential big man in Archie’s offense. It would simply be mutually beneficial.
