    For Dakich, when a call goes Wisconsin's way, it's great refereeing. When it goes against Wisconsin (or for IU), it's homer calls. We have 13 fouls; they have 9. WTF???

    This is another instance where we had an opportunity to step on a team's throat and and create some separation. We didn't do it -- and it's gonna come back to haunt us. Because they're starting to hit 3s.

    Dakich is talking like we're getting all the calls. Bucky has committed 7 fouls; we have 12.

    Why do our guys not know how to stop and pop? ... Drive to the bucket, stop and go right up for a little jumper. Nobody does that -- and it could be an effective weapon for us.

    Of course Smith hustled downcourt. There was a chance for him to make a bucket. Smith hustling back on defense? That's another story ...

    "Flop" was a poor choice of words. No need to syh ... Davis definitely initiated contact. But the defender's foot was inside the arc. Why was that not a block. Does the arc not matter in that case. I'm seriously asking -- I'm not sure.

    Somebody who knows the rules better than I, please explain this to me. Is the charge/block arc only on drives to the bucket? Because Davis was backing his way in, the defender flopped and got a charge. I think Davis probably did initiate the contact, but the defender's foot was inside the arc. I thought defender inside the arc = blocking foul, regardless. Am I wrong? (Probably).

    If I'm Archie, I tell our defenders that when Happ starts bumping his way toward the bucket, flop before he gets inside the charge/block circle.

    Next time Happ gets the ball, JuMo should just position himself outside the block/charge arc and when Happ initiates contact -- go flying. Bucky got a charge on a flop; maybe we can, too. Though I wouldn't hold my breath.

    Virginia Tech keeps working crazy hard to get their guard, Wabissa Bede, wide-open 3s -- and he keeps missing. Hokies led throughout, and I fear they're gonna end up blowing it.
