    Have been more interested in the business side of the NFL than ever lately. Started reading a lot about Ballard playing the game on compensatory picks. It’s not the only approach and can be maddening as a fan, but look at the difference in how he operates versus the Browns. They gave up #17, a 3rd rounder, and Peppers. That’s a ton.     This is true, but think it’s a toss-up between those two for me, largely based on intangibles. Coaches are likely thinking of who is more difficult to game-plan for, and I think that’s certainly Romeo. Have been glad they’ve pointed out how much his defense has grown.     I really like Inside IU Basketball with Archie and Fisch. Sometimes it even gets a little candid, which is unusual for Archie. Loved his quiet confidence tonight when he said something to the effect of, “I don’t know who’s playing better than us right now, but give me these guys in a tournament setting.” Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Completely agree with this. I don’t think he’s entitled because he was a first teamer last year. As far as all-around player, I would argue he’s not the best on his team.     Just goes to show...if you shoot 25 times a game and have the media talk about you all year, it doesn’t matter how many shots go in or really how your all-around game is.     Interesting. Isn’t that Ed Schilling’s mantra? I’ll admit, I haven’t been overly impressed with the individual development of many of our guys, but who knows if that’s about any of IU, UK, or MSU.
