This isn’t mediocre, this is plain a#% bad..

I was a give it time and wait-and-see, but I believe it’s time to let Calbert take over the reins until the end of the season…jeez o Pete… that was downright ugly, lackluster, lost, no game plan blah blah blah..

If we unfortunately lost him after one season, I imagine we would wind up with one of the two top assistant coaches..

I am always rooting for the kids to win and have as much success as possible. Coaches are also a work in progress and so when I’m watching a game, I am usually always hoping for the coaching staff to be learning and growing as coaches so that maybe even a bad program can turn the corner. I was always pulling for Allen to make that leap or get it figured out because, I’m a fan. If I were his boss, I would have all the behind-the-scenes variables to calculate a decision whether he should be gone or stay with him, but that’s what makes me just a fan.

I think maybe a true fan would voice some displeasure to the person next to themselves or under their breath say a few choice words, but to offer up a chorus of boos down to a team full of youngsters is pretty low brow IMO. And I also don’t believe they need to grow a thicker skin. :)

What’s wrong with waiting to talk face-to-face if Eric was coming to Bloomington anyways? You say things have been “revealed” in the podcast…when maybe nothing was “revealed” in the podcast except for conjecture and bitterness and swaying the truth for his sounding board. (lol) That does exist a lot in our modern society you know via new age communication…text and emails and social media blah blah blah.

What if Woodson waited until now because maybe Eric was making a trip to Bloomington anyways at the end of June to have the conversation and didn’t actually force him to jump on a plane to come specifically to Bloomington to have that conversation? Also, just because Eric said that Woodson said “I will be the coach as long as I want to be the coach” doesn’t mean that’s what he actually said… To me, this scenario seems just as likely considering the source.

I just think he may have had reason to feed the flame after getting burned. I’m not a S pumper by any stretch,

I’m frankly surprised we haven’t heard a peep out of the portal. Maybe Jelks is going to be counted on and heeled up to split time with Lilly. Sure seems like we could use a speedy guard and a big though if we want to go deep in the tournament. Kind of puzzling.
