It would not be unusual for some players to be at dinner on a Friday night with friends or g/f and get a text saying we're practicing in an hour. He also had a rule that if he was in the building then you had to be in the building as a staff member. I know one person couldn't stand that.

100%. Even as a ref I would get a message saying Coach is going to practice in an hour can you be at assembly hall in 2 hours

Team had the weekend off, he left Indiana for a trip but hasn't returned. I'm sure he is back by now

I 100% feel this way. We can't miss this time. We've had a couple of bad hires and the fan base is getting really restless. Lots of people are older and wondering if they will see another good run in their lifetime. Lots of younger fans who haven't ever seen a good run are starting to find something else to do with their time. Scott knows all of this and I'm sure does feel the pressure. I know some don't but I trust Scott.

And some messages I have gotten. It's Feb. 20. No one knows what is going on. The one thing I love this time is we have good backup options. We have a long way to go and it's going to be a roller coaster, that is for sure

You are exactly right he never said there was an agreement in place. He actually said he was talking to someone who wasn't a college coach right now. He was hoping to hear if they wanted the job in the next two weeks.
