One of those games where Woody gets himself a double tech and tossed just to not have to sit there and face getting annihilated.

If Stevens really is the most likely candidate, I know people have mentioned the date of the NBA trade deadline as being a significant thing to keep an eye on. I’m curious to know how so? Let’s say 100% it’s going to be Brad, wondering how that would tie into Woodson being gone and if it’d trigger any now info or announcement of him being gone and Brad being the guy.

I was texting a friend about some stuff at work earlier today and he responded “that’s BS”. When I turned my TV and hit the guide button, the first channel I saw was CBS Im getting signs from everywhere….lol

So if Woodson knows it, which I don’t doubt, does that mean he thinks it could still be before the season ends if the situation is more of a when not if?

Fife on JMV, says he still stays in contact with Dolson. He feels bad for him about the current situation because he knows it wasn’t Dolson’s decision to make the current hire. Says IU is stuck in the mud being too reliant on just spending money, hoping you get talent, rolling the ball onto the floor and seeing what happens.

I could see some “Keep Mike Woodson” chants from the PU student section. Wouldn’t shock me to be one of those games where Woody gets himself thrown out of the game just so he doesn’t have to face the beatdown.

Hopefully we hear some more news of things that could happen today. Anxious to see if anything else comes of what Chris said about major donors having enough. Fridays game at Purdue, will definitely make the team/Woodson a laughing stock.

…I could be wrong but I think Chris is just playing along with the back and forth….i just don’t see him being here next year at all.

Trying to talk myself into just being “chill” and expect nothing to happen til seasons end and just enjoy the rest of the year knowing once it’s over he’ll be gone….but the thought of a chance of him getting kicked to the curb early is still grasping on for dear life, ha.

So I agree that Woodson and staff seemed a little extra pumped to come out with the win against Ohio State. Almost like a “yes! We get to live another day!” type of reaction. I wonder if that is indeed the case. Like someone said, I wonder if they were told if you keep winning you can keep staying but if not and it’s bad then you’re done. Would a bad Northwestern loss prevent him from being the coach at home against Maryland and then the rest of the season? I’m anxious to find out. I know we’ve gone down this road before talking about some people still think he’ll get to finish the season while others still think he won’t be coaching the next home game. I think their reaction to escaping the Ohio State game makes their fate kinda interesting if there really is something to that.

I know before the OSU game there were some on here who thought Mike Woodson won’t coach another game in Assembly Hall. Since we managed to escape by the hair of our chinny chin chin with a win, do we still think there’s a chance he won’t coach again at home? I think fans are to the point where it really doesn’t matter that we happened to win that game. Fans are still displeased with what’s going on and I think would still show their disappointment even though we won our last game.

I just want this guy gone so bad. His demeanor/attitude just drives me nuts. Only thing I think he’s improved on past couple months or so is that he hasn’t referred to himself in the third person nearly as much, so good for him on that one. I’m sure it’s a downright fact that he’s done after this season, but I wish like heck it’d be sooner than that. Beating his chest and players saying I told you so because they barely beat not very good teams is ridiculous. After 4 years of the same crap and how he’s treated fans/media, does he really deserve to limp through the rest of the season just so he can tell everyone he did his job? I don’t like it when we lose, but to be honest, this morning I was kinda mad that we won last night. He’s gonna get to insist he’s doing his job and that the results were the best that could have happened. NO, THEY WERE NOT. I’m sorry, but here’s to hoping I’d rather see us lose to Northwestern by 20 than to beat them by 3 and have Woody throw his hands in the air like we just knocked off a top 5 team. Trying to convince myself to just relax and let him ride out the season if he’ll just be gone anyways…I’m just over it, ha.

I guess it really doesn’t matter either way if he’s 100% gone regardless, but you think it’s most likely gonna not be til the end of the season now or still could be a chance before season ends?

Still think even if we win tonight they could stick with the plan of moving on from him this weekend? I’m nervous and need the reassurance, haha.

Gosh I really hope squeezing out a win here isn’t a positive for Woodson. We aren’t playing a very good team at all. I’ve already got my hopes too high about him being done this weekend, ha
