If only the Bulls/Pacers matchup had been in Indy tonight. That would've been perfect. -

Agreed. Money levels the playing field for those that have access but have never had clout. However, I would throw in a third important factor: A motivator. We've seen what happens to a coach with considerable X/O skills but zero motivational leadership a la Archie Miller. -

That's any fan base of a high major, basketball-centric program. It takes stones to take on any of those jobs, yet they can get winners. If the fans are too much, you weren't fit for the job anyway. And this job? This job is at the heart of a state that proudly touts itself as basketball country. This program rose to the pinnacle of college basketball, in basketball country, under a hard @$$ who didn't give or accept excuses and had skin thicker than leather. The expectation for this job was set 50 years ago and hasn't been met for 25 of them. The person who can withstand the scrutiny, block out the noise, and handle his s*** is the person we need on our sideline. That person cannot also be the same person who gets feelings hurt by rabid fans. -

3 of 4 losses in OT, and the one regulation loss by 5. They have never been out of any game. -

Efficiency is the biggest issue. Play style dictates the margin for error, more so if your defense sucks. That said, get me a guy who can teach kids to put the clamps on people. There's nothing better than seeing an opponent realize the pillow isn't coming off their face until 40 minutes have passed. -

If the process is still adding possible candidates to the list then they're either horrifically underprepared (not likely) or they're striking out on a lot of candidates before him (also not likely). I think its 'soft chatter', so soft it's nearly inaudible. -
Guess the young man can turn his focus to the next phase of his career a little early. Mt Vernon defeats Greenfield Central to bring Braylon Mullins' high school career to a close in a 2OT burner. Mullins with 38. Purdoo commit Luke Ertel with 36.

Air Bud was a baller, I'm sure he knows the game well enough to keep things competitive. -
Watched a couple of close sectional final finishes simultaneously, and while I wish the gyms would be filled up like the tournaments of yesteryear, I'll say ihsaatv is super convenient.
