I don't see the problem. He could help fill a need to help with shooting and he's a winner that can bring in some leadership. He only fills the scholarship for 1 year which would help with class balance for recruits moving forward. Yes, I know the new transfer rules make class balance tougher but it still allows for more flexibility.

Well Hunter is a career 32% 3 point shooter and a 64% career FT shooter. I think he could have a decent year but he's not going to be a star or anything because he doesn't have a secondary skill. He also hasn't shown he can beat anyone off the dribble. I also don't think he could guard me and that's the biggest problem. He has to be able to defend especially since IU doesn't have a rim protector at the center spot. I don't think it's a given anyone transfers. I just think this speaks to how much several guys not just Hunter need to improve.

I know what Rabby said. People think Mitchell will go wherever Tony Bergeron gets a job since he's the reason Mitchell went to UMASS in the first place. The problem is I haven't seen Bergeron's name brought up at all which makes me think that he's not gaining any traction for any assistant coaching jobs.

Hard to say for either. I didn't see enough from either to know and honestly neither did you. For both it will come down to how they develop this summer. As for if they will leave if that happens it better be there choice otherwise that won't turn out well to run off guys from the state that love being at and playing for IU. That right there is counter productive to what Woody is wanting to do in fixing the IU culture. I'm starting to think Hunter is a MAC player on offense and a DIII player on defense. He has 1 skill and that's it. So I think it'll be him if there is another transfer. That said I think a lot of players were misused in the past couple of years.

I've even heard that IU has had some level of contact with Kyle Mangas which tells me they are searching high and low for roster upgrades.

The names that have been mentioned that are still available are Kopp, Nickleberry, and Bates. I don't think any other names have been said to have been contacted by IU.

I'm just saying that only having TJD, Race, and Duncomb is a gamble. They need a 4th person that can play the 5 especially if Race still plays the 4 some which I still think he will at times.

No it's not. 1 injury and you're in the same boat as the team was this year when Brunk got hurt. They've got to go find another 5 imo.
