Banks has been training with him for a couple years.

Kids been training with Yasir the last couple years.

At the end of the day Mangas would likely be somewhere between a Zeisloft type of player and a Stewart type of player. He wouldn't be the same kind of player at IU that he is at IWU. His role would have to change just like it will when he starts his professional career. It's the same way that Duncan Robinson's game had to change. Either way Mangas would be a great option imo if the staff really decides that they want him at IU.

I personally think he will be able to do a lot of different things and not just shoot. I think people were just stating what the minimum production would likely be.

Mangas is a great shooter and that is his skill that is most likely to translate. Plus he's also 6'4. That's why it's been mentioned that Zeisloft is the floor.

Well for starters Mangas isn't a portal player. The coaches shouldn't have a problem evaluating him based on who he played against at IWU. There would be a dip in production obviously but he'd still be a capable rotation player at minimum.

I'm guessing that Mangas might be a potential backup plan if Bates decides to go elsewhere.

Chris is right. The question will come down to how aggressive IU is in pursuing Mangas and if they ever offer.

Last time I checked the reigning national champions started 6'2, 6'3, 6'4, 6'5, and 6'10 all season. Playing 3 guard lineups isn't a problem at all.

That's what his title was when he was originally hired and he hasn't changed his twitter account at all since he was originally hired. I'm not sure if Woodson has given them specific titles.

I think people have over hyped the 6'5-6'8 stuff. I think that's what he might want in a perfect world but at the end of the day he also probably wants guys that fill certain roles well. If they are a little smaller than I'm sure Woody will find a way to maximize things and make it work.

I doubt he leaves IU for a couple years. He loves the school to much and wants to see things turned around.
