  1. The cause of all the injuries is probably a combination of over training as a child and during high school, turf, genetics, bad luck, and several other factors. There are typically multiple factors but people love to point fingers because they don’t know any better.
  2. I would love to ask Carlisle his reasoning for that. I can’t figure that one out
  3. It’s hard to say what the problem is. Seems to be a lot of places colleges and professional teams that are having injuries this year and everyone wants to point at the strength and conditioning coaches. I’d venture to say it’s something else causing the problems.
  4. At the time the first Bama visit was scheduled they were confident that they were getting Walker and he was their top target. By the tie the second scheduled visit took place they realized they weren't getting Walker so by the time he visited and went all in on Clowney and blew him away. The staff and players thought they were getting Clowney and it didn't happen. With out of state guys most "inside info" comes from the IU side and not the recruit side. In state guys it can sometimes come from both. Anyone that gets frustrated by fans getting excited when "inside info" is shared they probably should avoid message boards. Recruiting is always fluid and can change from hour to hour or day to day regardless of what info is out there.
  5. IU has wanted multiple DL in this class all along. The number of offers isn't a surprise
  6. IU has offered 2022 DL Jayson Jenkins from New Jersey. He is listed at 6'6 250. https://247sports.com/player/jayson-jenkins-46127855/
  7. The pass rush looks better at times but I'm starting to think it's biggest issue is the terrible coverage and scheme in the secondary not giving them time to get to the QB. The secondary is also not getting any better this year so that'll be an offseason thing to fix. The only thing that could change is the scheme and that's not happening.
  8. They said he was weeks away instead of months away. It's possible now he's back sometime in December.
  9. This would be correct. The University had it taken down. Same reason Dolson walked over told the Hysterics to shut down their live stream of the game.
  10. They aren't even close to being the same team they were a week and a half ago that they are now. Brogdon and LeVert make a huge difference along with Duarte. The question will be is if they can stay healthy.
  11. Multiple people have said this. I’ve heard it from people. Rabby has hinted at it. It’s pretty well known but that doesn’t mean he won’t try and compete to be. He’s just more likely to really contribute in years 3 and 4
  12. Cupps knows he’s not a day 1 guy but that also doesn’t mean he’s not going to try and prove people wrong. Shoot IU’s staff would love to still land Cupps and Little. He’s going to have to most likely have to compete anywhere he goes but that’s a good thing imo.
  13. Ohio State just got a committment from George Washington III. He´s a CG that is ranked in the top 70. He is listed at 6´2 so he´s on the shorter side of height for a CG.
  14. Next week is one of the best weeks of the year. Boys high school basketball practice officially starts here in Indiana on Monday and then college basketball is back on Tuesday.
  15. It really hasn´t. He landed the number 10, 16, 45, 46, 115, and 145 ranked players according to 247 composite in 2021. That’s two 5*’s, three 4*’s, and one 3*. In 2022 he’s got number 37, 39, 61, and 108 and they are considered by some to be the leader for Ty Rodgers who’s ranked 54th. That’s four 4* commits and they could add a 5th. They haven’t landed a 5 star in 2022 but they also didn’t seriously target very many. They’ve gotten most of their targets.
  16. Yeah he did allow the limited 2 minute video but that's all he wanted done.
  17. After watching a couple of games I don't like the Aaron Craft comp. I know I stated that but it came from someone else's evaluation. I agree with you that I don't have a great comp. What I see in this is a sophomore PG who knows his role on this team. It is to protect the ball and get the team in the offense. I would expect that him playing within the structure of the offense is what he was told to do by his coach "dad" in order give his team the best chance to win. I like that because it tells me the kid wants to win and isn't all about himself. He's going to be a PG though because I don't see him as a guy you'd want playing off the ball because he isn't a natural scorer.
  18. Getting LeVert back was huge. If Brogdon is back tomorrow against the Knicks then the starting lineup with Brogdon, LeVert, and Duarte is pretty good on the perimeter. I still don't like Turner and Sabonis together and would like Warren to get back in the next month or so and have him play most of the time at the 4. I do like the Pacers chances better of rattling off a few wins with LeVert back.
  19. That hasn't aged well to this point.
  20. Clowney wouldn't have replaced TJD. TJD has been a last year and this year. He hasn't been a 4 since before Brunk got hurt. The starting 4 and 5 next year are likely on the roster already. Geronimo is the likely 4 and Durr or Duncomb is the likely 5 baring a transfer portal addition to one of those spots that is a STUD. Banks is a 3/4 tweener. He's currently more of a 4 that could be a 3 at some point. Clowney was currently more of a thin 5 that could turn into a 4.
  21. And you won’t find one because Woody doesn’t want it out. Just like he doesn’t want any video out prior to the first game
  22. It used to be a death sentence. The portal being what it is now has changed that.
  23. Freaking out was probably an exaggeration but there are plenty of people on multiple message boards that feel like they should be concerned by missing on Clowney.
  24. You're just looking for a reason to be concerned. Woody landed the transfers and Bates. Then missed on Taylor and Filipowski and everyone freaked out. Then they went on to land JHS, Banks, and kept Gunn committed. All while not even playing a game yet. There's no reason to be concerned at this point in time. Now if they miss on Cupps, Little, Booker, and others then feel free to be concerned.
  25. Nice insinuation you make there. I could elaborate but I won't waste my time
