Also started the season with the opposing team scoring a touchdown on the very first play, crazy how just about everything went right after that.

I think the chances season ticket prices go up 5% or less the year after we win the national championship are slim to none. The amount of people that just paid 5-10x the cost of a single season ticket to go to the ship was pretty high.

Flight from Chicago this morning is at least half Hoosier fans.

Going to guess based on location they were of the $525 variety, similar to mine. (that was lowest tier, highest was $1,150)

I could also see it. And with ticket prices at 3k+, the advantage of not having to pay for a flight or hotel room isn't as high. Flight + hotel would be more than the ticket for most games, for this game it would likely be 25% or less of the total cost to go to game. Let's also not forget that Miami has a large Cuban population that loves Mendoza. For those wondering when they should buy, I would wait at least until IU fans get their ticket assignments which their email said wouldn't happen until Jan 15th at the earliest.

It’s a weird check-out process where you think you’re done only to find out there are more steps. I thought I had requested Peach Bowl tickets but hadn’t. If he or she didn’t get an email confirmation immediately after then they probably didn’t complete all the steps.

Layover in Houston on my way to Atlanta. Almost 10 IU fans all yukking it up in our IU gear at the gate.

Do ticket exchange posts need to be approved? Not sure if I didn't actually hit post or if it's awaiting approval. If anyone is still looking for tickets, I have 4 to sell (section 13 row 19) at face or less as I'd strongly prefer them to go to IU fans.

Paid $185 per ticket, credit card has been charged. I don't actually have the tickets yet though, so I don't know what row I'm in. They said information would be released on getting the actual tickets last week of December. I would imagine a bunch would go up for sale then.

Probably so. But I think there are other voters who would choose Mendoza because it's a cool story versus giving it to someone like Sayin that benefits from having a dominant supporting cast.

What an incredible win that was, still riding high and now get to go watch us play b-ball in person, what a weekend. And I dare I say, Cig was actually happy at the end.

I think this is a good point. I think a lot of us (me included) are consciously or subconsciously waiting for the other shoe to drop on this team when in reality they are every bit as good as their ranking.
