You can count on one hand the schools with richer history and richer resources for a basketball program. I don't think "attracting suitors" will be any issue. Crean is great at developing players. Developing in game adjustments? No. Sure, the wins vs Kentucky, UNC, Kansas and the likes are nice, but even more impactful are the consistent, boneheaded losses every single year. If you're satisfied with getting bounced every year in the Sweet Sixteen, good for you, but as a fan of a great blue blood, I expect more. He's had plenty of time and a great chance with the top ranked team to do something special and didn't.
