I work third shift and just got the news and it almost brought a tear to my eye. "I'd like to thank not only god, but jesus" -

(2016) PF De'Ron Davis to IU
Brett Williams replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
He looks sort of out of shape. Idk if the game plan going in was to share the love and no one player do too much, but he just looked a little unagressive. I'm still really excited about him. He's gonna be a really good multi year player for us. -

I specialize in disc, but have to throw hammer and shot too in order to score points in conference. And I appreciate it. -

IU Basketball: Who is leaving? Who is staying?
Brett Williams replied to IndyHutch's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
In my humble opinion, the difference between losing Troy and losing TB is that we have multiple skilled, viable options at the 3 and 4. We don't have that depth at the 5 spot. Not saying I won't miss Troy and his highlight reel dunks. But I also don't know that DD/OG/JM/CH can't make up for that drop off and then some. -

Got tired of all the negativity on a certain other fan forum. Couldn't get a word in edge wise. Already like it more here. -

I think if troy leaves, this guy would be a GREAT fit alongside TB. Two totally different players. 6'9" 220lb bruiser. The highlight video specifically points out his skill at the drive and dish. With the lineup of shooters we have at IU, that is always welcome. He's a good defender (could pick up some slack for JBJ, who would greatly benefit from his type of inside-out game). And he's averaging a double double with more rebounds than points? I hope he has legitimate interest in donning the candy stripes because I'm sold on this kid.
