I have a bad feeling we will not see Rojo Friday

I was on ESPN site and none of the experts giving us a chance. 2 of them actually pick us as the hardest matchup because of our injuries (which i can somewhat understand) and our size. I do recall us beating 2 very skilled Purdue and Maryland teams that thrive through its bigs.

I feel if this team beats UNC, we will play for a National Championship. That's how much stock I put into this game. An IU team that wins Friday is full of heart and grit and nothing stops them from a destiny-type season. I can't lie, Friday terrifies me but i also know this team when playing together, can accomplish anything.

I honestly don't think Crean would divulge that info anyway. Good tactic as Carolina could be unclear exactly how to game plan. Without Rojo, I'd expect to see a whole lot more of OG.

Any mention of injury report?

I believe both OG and Bryant come back next year. 2017 mock draft has Bryant #9 and OG #20

Rojo said he re-agrivated the bone bruise he's dealing with. Let's hope he's ready to go. I think it will take a lil more than just good 3 point shooting to win this. I remember watching Duke/UNC game at Cameron and Duke was knocking down its 3s but could do nothing in the interior and eventually lost. We need to gang rebound, get some of their bigs in foul trouble and absolutely NO silly turnovers! If we do these things and shoot like we are capable then we should be successful.

Another solid week of healing will do Hartman good as well. I have a suspicion he wasn't 100% yesterday being as he didn't attempt hardly any jumpshots.

I actually had Iowa going down against Temple. This team just peaked mid season and descended from there. They were actually picked preseason to finish 9th in the conference. They just really out performed themselves but eventually everything evened up.

I honestly feel Rojo will be back. He was able to walk on own power and came back. Yes, had a slight limp but with 4 days.od treatment and rest i like the chances.

I believe to date this is Crean's biggest game. Not just because its UK but the fact he was able to turn the season around from a dismal beginning of the year. It would be ashame to have it deflated due to this loss. I really believe IU is the better team but just the past tourney body of work Crean has put together scares me.
