It was in reply to saying he wasnt a top 75 coach. Could have gotten wrong guy. Yes I do not like Crean here anymore but he will be a good coach somewhere witj lower expectations. In his defense if they offer the job why would he say no at that point. It was him or Brownell and Im glad we got Crean. It just shouldn't have lasted as long as it did. Honestly I like him as a candidate but be don't have the name recognition quite yet. Him & Beard are my my guys I expect to be big time coaches around the country in a few years once the right job is presented. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app

People seem to forget that. They compare their jobs to Indiana which if that was the case the wouldn't be candidates. It is guys wanting to go to a bigger school so they can get better talent with better results. It is quite simple. I like Altman and Scott Drew I put Scott Drew in my top 5 wish list and I would add Mark Few to mine as well. Completely forgot him. Altman has done an amazing job turning Oregon into a solid program. They have to compete against better teams in their area as well. UK doesn't count for us as they never recruit around us. U of L maybe. MSU and UM along with OSU is our hardest ones. Altman has Zona & UCLA. That alone is harder. I wouldn't put him at the top but there is a reason he always seems to have a big guy averaging 2 blocks a game at least. Sometimes 2. I would take him as a top 10 option very easily. Still would take 7-8 guys before him. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app

If your adding dream guys thay would even answer the phone i dont like that list at all. 1. Stevens 2. Billy D 3. Jay Wright 4. Tony Bennett 5. Scott Drew 6. Archie Miller 7. Chris Mack 8. Greg Marshall 9. Dana Altman 10. Mike White 11. Fred Hoiberg 12. Holtsmann 13. Andy Enfield 14. Chris Collins 15. Chris Beard 16. Steve Alford 17. Mick Cronin 18. Leonard Hamilton 19. Ronald Nored 20. Dane Fife There is my top 20 and we surely could get 75 percent of those guys so hopefully our next coach is ready. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app

Now that McCarthy isn't getting paid by IU anymore he is going in on Crean on twitter. Laughed at Crean saying his number one job is to be the team cheerleader, said Crean is always late to postgame interviews, said 70 percent of the time I wonder what is going through his mind, and a few other things. You guyz get it. I find it hilarious and the fact Crean really said his number one job is to be their cheerleader makes me wonder how he has made it through any professional type meetings with his bosses. Like I have said over and over people....Brad Brownell was our next option if Crean passed. He had enough success at Marquette and not just the Final Four run either that he could have went a lot of places but he choose us. I will always respect him for that. I think his welcome is worn out, but please god let him leave for another job. It shows people we handled it the right way and makes other guys more comfortable coming here. If you embarrass a guy who showed up when no one else wanted to, what makes the next guy think if it gets rough he isn't made a mockery? Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app

I think the bump affected his momentum. Obviously they dont call a foul like that to decide a game but any other possession it is probably called. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app

It really is though lol. I always love the NBA but especially right now. It isnt just the Cavs in the east anymore and the Warriors are still gonna win it but the playoffs will still be fun to watch. I recommend watching the Wizards. Wall is very fun to see ball right now. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app -

If we win this it is cause JBJ hitting key shots, DG making Mason work hard at every shot and even making it hard for him to get the ball in half court and Morgan keeping us alive when the offense was stagnant. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app -

How are we playing better against a better team on the road than at home? This team confuses me but the foul trouble may cost us this game at the end. TB has to be smarter than that. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app -

Yeah he seems to get nervous and go up too strong. He got to campus late this year too, so he will get a whole offseason this year as well. Not saying he is gonna be a star by no means but 5-8 points and 6-7 boards isnt crazy to think if he got the minutes. Im expecting a 4 pts 5 rbs next year tho. If Freddie had better hands he would be a great old school 4 man for us. Has great instincts, strong, hustles, and rebounds with two hands. I think if he puts in some serious work this offseason he may surprise some people. He just needs to sit baseline and take passes everyday. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app -

Valid point. Honestly if Crean gets a pass for OG then Gotfried should for not gettting Yuertzen for 9 games and missing all that practice time. Henderson missed every game but the first half of the first game last year. Yet he is still being held accountable. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app -
