Gottlieb can shove it. To me anyone who says something is a done deal (I'm fine with speculation or rumors) that does not happen should face a major fine if they turn out wrong. We can fine Dakich as well since he reported done deal on Alford which is probably where he got it from. As I shared last night much more credible people believe Alford is not happening and I will go with that. And I don't believe Jadlow either yet. He may be reporting what someone told him they saw but want more confirmation. Its amazing how both Alford and Donovan are done deals at the same time. Co-Coaches is unprecedented but I guess lets try it. LOL

I think we learned last night that these are rumors with no legs. Alford is not happening.

I'm sure your joking but you blew your cover. Bloomington no longer has a Baskin Robbins or any place called "31 Flavors" for Ice Cream. Closest Baskin Robbins is in Indy so unless you are alleging someone ran into Glass there your post is a non-starter credibility wise.

People need to stop taking one game so seriously. To decide whether you want Miller or Mack over this one game is absurd. Both have had great careers and either would be a great choice regardless of the result tonight.

Well Miller's available now if we want a shot at him. Anybody feel better about Mack yet?

You know him a hundred times better than I do then. I have met him twice I think in passing when I was a student at IU. I was a HPER major in school when he taught there (not sure what year he moved over to journalism) but never took a class from him.

Yes he does. I would not of posted his podcast info if I didn't trust him and think he was legitimate. I know him just a little bit also but not well at all.

I do trust the guy. I don't know him well but I have met him and he's a good honest guy. He's certainly the most credible thing I've seen in terms of an update so far given his connections and much more than these anonymous posters

I trust a name with a face like Clavio much more than an anonymous source on a message board thank you.

To me this Clavio update I posted is important and first legitimate news I have heard in regards to search in this whole process since Crean fired. I think he's right and I trust him as I said.

LEGITIMATE BREAKING NEWS: Dr. Clavio just said Alford's a no go on Assembly Call show on you tube (fast forward to end): He is a professor at IU who is head of Journalism School there with good connections and a reputation to uphold. Just said his sources have said Alford is not happening. Other than that thinks Donovan is possible but not sure. Said search is very open and will be late next week before we know anything. Have a listen to last 5 minutes. It reveals a lot! I know Clavio just a very little bit and I trust him.

Listening to Assembly Call guys and they seem to think Alford is a no chance of happening. Hopefully they are right.

Well cross Huggy Bear off the list as a candidate. Not only is he dirty as hell with NCAA which disqualifies him but his offense at the end looked to much like Crean's with lack of urgency.

Anyone want to re-visit Dana Altman as a potential dark horse candidate? I was laughed at a few days ago for suggesting him on the board but his record is actually really good and his resume very impressive. Has Oregon in back to back Elite 8's and my family in Oregon thinks he's excellent.

Sorry Glass said all assistants must be human (that was his only criteria I forgot to mention but thought it was obvious). Bill Murray is fine (and a huge sports fan) as is Jordan if they are interested but Lola and Bugs have been vetoed. LOL
