The part that seems outlandish is that the resume of Hart gets an interview over Herman’s resume.

So in Dolson’s mind Hart is better than Herman? I’m more confused than ever about how this works lol.

I appreciate the insight. Thank you. I guess my question is he has been there a long time with really good success but why is he still there and why hasn’t he been scooped up already if he is so hot?

For people like myself, with really no knowledge of the candidates why Candle? I don’t want to sound argumentative but I don’t want to go down the CAM road. He has been there a lot of years and he’s still there correct? It feels like for me, and I just know what has been presented in this thread, I would prefer Herman by a wide margin followed by Chryst.

ARE says hello with some of those qualities. Seriously though, I don’t know much, if any of the names in this thread or much about football in general besides the basics. Do we know at this point for sure who IU has reached out to? I know that there are lists but I don’t believe any of the writers out there. I would have to think we have already had communication with our next head coach.

I haven’t read through the thread but a couple thoughts. The bench saved us early until the starters finished them off. Our starting backcourt has to play much better on both ends. The officiating in NY has been a total joke. Finally Banks! Been begging for him to get more minutes since I saw Mgbako in game one. I don’t know what the stats say but he came in and impacted the game right away on both ends. He still has to work on finishing and free throws but he gets it and has the needed athleticism at the 3 spot. Defends, rebounds, makes right plays, etc. A couple of times he could have forced up 3’s but didn’t and made the right play. The ball finds him because he is active and puts himself in the right positions. He needs to play more and should be starting over Mgbako.

You probably know where I’m going to disagree. Cupps got beat once or maybe twice but he held is own other times. He is what many thought he would be for the most part and should continue getting his minutes. I agree about Gunn. Mgbako on the other hand is a train wreck. I don’t see his defense having improved. He is constantly out of position. Any improvement is marginal at best and that’s being kind. Now, his shot is not falling so what else is there. He is not a good athlete at all but can probably fool a lot of people coming off the bus because of his size. He is an especially awful fit next to Ware and Malik who both should play big minutes. He should not be starting and should be earning his minutes like everyone else. I’m tired of hearing about stars. K. Lander was a 5 star too. This isn’t high school or AAU. This is big time college basketball. He must be a practice phenom because I thought I remember CMW saying multiple times when he took the job the kids that played were going to be the kids that earned it.

Been saying it since game #1. A lot on here don’t share that opinion though.

Ware makes me laugh. Bloomington is just a quick pit stop. Have said it since game 1. Mgbako can’t play with Malik and Ware. We are going to lose games if something doesn’t change there. We are lucky we haven’t already. Malik and Ware have to play the big minutes. Mgbako should be playing limited minutes behind Malik. Unfortunately, I don’t think CMW will even think about it. He’s going to continue playing too many minutes and we will be worse for it. I don’t see why we need Walker in the rotation. Seems like a great kid but not sure what he gives us on the court. Banks should be playing more anyway. Still see the potential with him.

It’s been two games so let things play out. Through two games Cupps has been more or who many thought he was. MM has been pretty bad. Cupps has been not just better than MM but has been much better.

I wasn’t aware of Mrs. Old Fart. Had to shoot my shot anyways :)
