People can choose to believe who they want. I know who I choose to believe. I remember hearing pretty much the same thing on campus. Not from insiders or anything like that but what you described was the big rumor going around. I kind of have a problem with your last sentence but not with you.

We differ here. There are a lot of coaches that have baggage. That’s one thing, but he has demons as you put it. I would hope there is 0.0% chance that he would even be considered. From a young woman’s perspective that just graduated from IU, the thought of him on campus makes me cringe.

I think the best thing to happen is Dusty May and his team making another run. The people (former players) that are close to Woodson tells him he did a great job, got us back moving in the right direction, had some success against Purdue, got us back in the tournament, etc. Tell him we got a young IU guy that wants to come back home that could be here 25 years. Tell him this is the year we need to get him because if we don’t someone else will. He is not getting fired and this is the only way I see him leaving.

If we are discussing potential coaches I would have to think more about it, but if there is one hard no it’s Chris Beard.

It’s hard to envision Woodson leaving voluntarily. He thinks he can bring titles here. The rest of the season can get pretty bad though. It can get much worse than it is right now. I don’t know if that happens he would think about getting out though. I’m sure he would think he could turn it around and right the ship. It’s going to take people close to him to tell him to get out. Is the old guard (Buckner, May, IT) going to do that because we finally got an IU guy?

I don’t know how to find +/- stats. My eyes told me Cupps was pretty good and X was pretty bad. I know your the stat guy @Ngw7183?
