I will not understand if they don't make a run at Bennett. IU could offer him double what he's making and the resources along with it to become truly elite. If there is some ego thing because he turned it down in '08 that needs to be forgotten. He is the best bet we have to lure that is in the college ranks.

Would be greatly appreciated.

He's obviously a bitter dude but at this point he probably just doesn't care, which is fine, and we shouldn't either. Hung three banners and is one of the best and most polarizing CBB coaches of all time and I'm thankful for that.

There is a very real possibility we don't win another game this season with the way we are playing and the dysfunction internally.

My buddy who is a Notre Dame fan texted me out of nowhere the other day and just said "Hoiberg is your next coach" so at least others outside of IU circles are seeing there is a need for change

Wouldn't it be the most unCreany-Creaniest thing ever to beat Wisconsin in Madison Sunday????
-
crimsonquarry is trying to back down everyone on Twitter that voices their opinion on canning Crean....and I'm not buying. They just posted a clip from the Butler NC game vs. Duke and how they went ISO to try and compare to the plays Crean calls. There were in the National. Championship. Game. Two. Years. In. A. Row. And almost beat that Duke team. How is that an argument against Stevens?????? I usually like their takes/articles but they're being ridiculous with some of this stuff. This three-game stretch has been pretty shocking but at the same time familiar. I've become numb to these swings and I'm losing interest. It's hard to care that much when you know what is going to happen.

IUBB's B1G Conference Record Prediction Thread

13-5. Wouldn't be surprised with 11-7 or 15-3 honestly, though. Should just stop starting Newkirk and have Rojo take point with JBJ, OG, Juwan, and TB. -
Most Important 2017 Recruits

Yeah, noticed this too. He had a great first half against Kansas but only had 5 shots and 4 shots in the last two games, respectively. He needs to get more inside touches than he is currently. We have a lot of guys that can score but Thomas should be a focal point of the offense when he's out there as he can be deadly on the block. Wonder how much having a guy like Yogi helped him last year. -
Indiana vs Purdue - Saturday 11/26 @ Noon on ESPNU
Sota Hoosier replied to KB0's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Would like to get Redding going this game and bring in the wildcat with Camion, Natee, and Zander. Don't turn the ball over and I think we run it up on PU pretty good. -
He looked like he was giving birth. If Harris wasn't feeling it, MSU is prob down by 8 or so going to half. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Indiana vs Michigan - Saturday Nov. 19 @ 3:30 ET on ESPN

I'm fine with this game....that UM team is really, really good and May contend for a NC. Play calling was questionable again but I'm glad it didn't get ugly. We battled and came up short. On to PU next week! Let's punch that bowl game ticket. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

The Hoosiers are so unpredictable which makes this game interesting. I could see us keeping this close for a while. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Hoping we play decent and don't turn it over. There is a good level of talent on this IU team but seem to self-destruct at the worst times. Not expecting much but would be great to keep it close! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

The release at the top of his jump too. So silky, JBJ. He has the greenest green light known to mankind. -

Haha agreed on that. JBJ's defensive issues would be pretty hidden in that lineup and I think there could be serious match up issues for the opponent. That squad would dominate the boards too. I could see CTC going to it against UNC or Lousville. -

I don't think we have seen this lineup yet: TB DD OG JBJ Juwan (at PG) Thoughts? -

There were some nice takeaways from this game and clearly we have a very talented and deep team. That said, I didn't come away from this game with a fuzzy feeling. There are defensive issues and I thought we were pretty sluggish (understood given coming of KU game on another planet but still). The issues can certainly be fixed and we'll be a much more polished team as the season goes on but I was hoping for a better performance defensively. UML made a lot of shots so credit to them but it seems like a lot of teams have done that to us the past couple years. We have an elite offense and immense talent, no doubt, but certainly a lot of stuff to work on and polish. Apologies if this is not a popular post but wanted to share. Need more of a sample size but I'd really like to see strides defensively this season and I truly believe that will dictate what this team's ceiling is in March. -
#271 UMass Lowell @ #6 Indiana Game Thread
Sota Hoosier replied to HoosierAloha's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
What I would like to see most tonight: <= 14 TOs.......please. UML apparently speeds up the game as do we but let's be more under control and sound on the offensive end against a lesser opponent. I'd also like to see TB and OG do some work on the block and get DD, Green, and McFly some significant minutes. -

Also OG had some ridiculous defensive plays. NBA scouts must have been loving those. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
#11 Indiana v. #3 Kansas - Postgame Thread
Sota Hoosier replied to MartintheMopMan's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
OG's 3/7 shooting was all threes. No twos attempted. He settled a couple times but KU also challenged anyone but him to beat them and JBJ did just that. Great team win with some sloppy play on a slippery court. Loved how JBJ played and his mindset of "I'm still here" that was great. I think we'll clean up some of the TOs as many seemed to be early season jitters. If we can offensive rebound like that and make the bunnies we'll be a tough beat for anyone. Although I thought the broadcast was KU-favored, likely due to them playing Duke on ESPN on Tuesday, it was great that Bilas was lauding the IU player development program. It was on full display last night. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
