I already made arrangements to stay in bloomington when we make the final four. Seriously I did. That's how much talent they have if they play within themselves .

Everyone knows I wanted coach Crean gone for the past two years. However he won the big ten and that deserves him the right for us to reserve judgement at the end of the season. I hope he gets it done.

Scholarships are dispersed on a year to year basis and not guaranteed for four years. coach Crean can allocate the funds towards his athletes any way he wants.

Well once again we are at a impasse . I'm going to disagree but leave it at that.

Are those numbers reflective of the whole year ? We are a completely different team since Blackmon got injured. I think we can beat anybody. This is the first team in the Crean era were I feel real comfortable going into a tournament .

I'm surprised very few of us think we can. I think we can do it.

Let's put our thoughts for the record. I think we'll win the Big Ten in a last second shot and make the final four. What I would be happy with is making the conference final and reach the elite eight. Only team that stands in our way is Kansas and Michigan State. Where do u guys stand?

1. Remember when we left their offense with so many wide open threes? Nope that is completely fixed now. We're also cutting more passing angles to create more turnovers. Beautiful . Finally we're not giving their guards space after they set a pick on top of the key. Awesome. Defense is what is different from previous teams and I'm glad that's changed. 2. Yogi is better at making decisions. I think he now understands the flow of the game better and decide when he should attack the rim and when he should pass. You also notice that he's no longer jumping off without a purpose? He's causing less turnovers. I'm glad to see it and it's a thing of beauty. Excited to see what happens.

I'm not bitter at all my friend . I'm the one who said I can think we can win against MSU. Your the one afraid to play them because " they match up well against us" . And so far I'm happy that someone got to Coach Creans ear ( per sources like Wilbon) and changed his tactics ( which you'd look like a fool if u denied that fact). I always said he was a nice guy but until this year a horrible in game coach. If we make it to the elite eight I'm good and I say keep him . I just don't like your inherit bias ( your last two user names serves as proof) and ability to manipulate and bend info to suite your argument without looking at the whole picture.

You can't be afraid to play the best. I think yogi has evolved from even the last time we played them. Bryant and Troy have also have gotten better by slowing down a bit and not forcing things. In order to be the best we'll eventually have to play one of those teams. It will be a close game no doubt but I want to see them playing the best.

At the same time I would love to see a Msu matchup. I think we can take them, and boost our seeding.

The big ten is flooded with good coaches. Good to see and if iu makes upward progress it will definitely be earned.

Honest question? Do u guys think the Blackmon injury helped us? Sadly I think it did. I hope the kid comes back next year but he did not care about defense at all. I mean it was awful ( am I wrong here?). It's very hard to play team defense when u have to shift to cover Blackmons man. I hope he learns some valuable lessons and picks up his defensive game next year.

For the record my beef has always been that Crean, with all the talent in the world has not been able to get passed the sweet sixteen with us. With our resources and money pouring in that should not happen. Big ten titles are nice but I think it says more if u can beat teams outside your league. If u go deep it says that your team can handle and compete with teams with different styles of play and coaches that employ different philosophies. To me that's the true test. I will say this though if this team goes to the elite eight- to final four I'm happy and there's no room for anyone to complain. This team feels different and some how compared to all his previous teams, coach Crean has finally changed his tactics and if he stays the course with those tactics I think it will help him achieve continued success. I mean that defense looks great, I'd think you'd be lying to yourself if you said iu has played that type of team defense in coach Crean's tenure. His substitutions are also more balanced ( still needs help there ) and the time out to try to stop Iowa's run in the second half... Who saw that coming. I'm hoping he gave in to his stubbornness and decided to change a bit . I hope goes far.
