Some people just don't like positive, upbeat people. They can't handle it! If I'm miserable and only could only score 3.7 points per game then nobody should be happy and score. To not get excited about his enthusiasm is just insane in my eyes. Lamar probably wouldn't do an interview with him so he decided to trash him. By the way, take some of your own advice Dan. You were a player and you haven't shut the hell up since your playing days between the championships.

I'd say the admin and boosters are going to give him some grace if they gave him a 6 year deal. I am not going to worry too much about getting upset until we get through a season and see the product. It's been proven, by several teams not just IU, that getting the top named players in the portal doesn't always work out. I like the team-building concept so much more than grabbing the biggest name. I think DDV will be able to find some diamonds in the rough along with some proven shooters. I'm excited for next season.

I'm wondering how bidunga fits in to the frontcourt. Will/can he play the 5? Can he guard the 7'ers or will he need another big beside him? Kind of seems undersized at 6'9"-6'10" and likely to put us in the malik reneau territory. I haven't watched him enough to know. What do you think?'

This may have been said already, missed a few 100 pages in the last three weeks, but I bet these players will play their hardest the rest of the year. I don’t think anybody is going to get a sniff from the draft and they will want to show their new coach what they can do, whether that is Indiana, another college, or some professional league. They are playing for next year’s salary right now. No free ride for year two of the players with eligibility. If I were rice, Carlyle, Mgbako, Reneau I would be laser focused this last month+. Gallo, Leal, Goode will be playing for the name on the front of the jersey. Ballo will give effort, not worried about him either.

He already has a fat wallet. He’ll probably need to switch to a satchel.

There is a lot of speculation about the coaches, administration, and execs of different companies, but I haven't seen anything about what it means for the athletes. Will players that have been proven to take money be ineligible/kicked out of school or what? I'm sure there are a number of things that could happen, but is there a precedent for this that might be on a smaller scale?

Archie will do a great job. He knows his stuff, has recruited at the highest level, and will surround himself with great people. Excited for off season news and to see who will be on the roster next year. He will have a pretty full cupboard and I bet he will use them and put them in a position to succeed.
