Didn't look at anything yesterday when the actual game was over, but just watching the game on BTN replay, a couple thoughts in my head: 1) I really like Rob. 2) I was impressed with our defense but we need to have quicker feet to get out to the three point line. It was better than last year but still a hot team can hit too many on us. 3) I thought Romeo tried to attack the game too much. When he let the game come to him/waited for his opportunity, he was more productive. 4) I don't see a real big role for Davis. 5) Get Damezi minues (and a haircut).

This is true. Just because players are not listed on any preseason award list does not mean they cannot 'play their way on' to the list and/or win the award based upon their in-season play. It is just to give media/fans an idea of the 'top' players overall/at a specific position before the season begins.

While these recommendations do NOT have to be taken at all and I won't care one way or another; I think it would be cool to see all major conferences represented (Big 10, Big 12, ACC, SEC, Pac 12, Big East). Perhaps when all these early season tournaments go on, we could pick the winner and runner-up of each tournament for 'bonus points' (or regular points, either way). This, in a sense, would allow us to use these tournaments in our game but not have to worry about not knowing the matchups.

I'm pumped about TJD. Watching his highlights...can't wait to see him dawn the Cream and Crimson and do some of those same things! Would make my week MUCH MUCH better if we get a commitment soon. But hey, whenever he chooses to, I'll be happy as long as it's IU.
