  1. OH MY GOD I think that Michigan State player just died while defending Tre Jones.
  2. I'm up to my knees in them here. I know what's for dinner tomorrow.
  3. Hey, guys..... Indiana has played a weak schedule.
  4. Even think he got hit on the wrist on that three.
  5. That's why Green has to play.
  6. Ref put the ball down. Jesus.
  7. Bad turnover. Worst foul call.
  8. Drinking game: every tie they mention IU's schedule, punch a kitten.
  9. Florida State has hit a couple of tough shots where the defense was good.
  10. Brunk about broke the backboard on that free throw.
  11. Brunk got pushed on the offensive board off of Green's miss.
  12. Vic's vertical on no legs > mine on two.
  13. Vic still has a year of eligibility, yes?
  14. I can't think of a single thing in his game that hasn't improved, though. Got to admire a kid who doesn't just leave because he isn't getting PT. Anderson said at the end of last season he knew he had to get better. He did.
  15. That's not an offensive foul.
  16. Damezi's defense has improved soooooo much.
  17. Missed a travel on TJD. That's okay, they've missed a couple at th other end.
  18. Not sure Davis logs many minutes (if any) ni this game.
  19. Really would prefer that Green have started over Franklin. Brunk's hedges so far are even slower than normal.
  20. Good info. I do have a question more on what the order of bowls are in terms of selections.
  21. The commercials were the most interesting thing in the Ohio State/Michigan game.
  22. Great quote from Moneyball when Billy Beane is told that a player who isn't hitting well is 'a good hitter'. He asks 'if he's a good hitter, why doesn't he hit good?' No one doubts Penix's ability. But appreciably better quarterback puts up appreciably better stats. Penix's are ever so slightly better.....to the point of needing a microscope. I think everyone here will agree his ceiling is higher. But for this year, the difference between the two behind center was incredibly negligible.
  23. I believe the whole leapfrogging based on record is done now....I know that the bowls used to have rankings in terms of the Big Ten teams (i.e, Big Ten #3, Big Ten #4, etc) but I don't believe that is the case. Each bowl submits their preference of a team to the Big Ten if they are aligned with them and then the Big Ten assigns the teams. Additionally, most of the bowls the Big Ten is aligned with have contracts that call for five different teams in six seasons. For that reason, the Pinstripe Bowl and Redbox bowl (formerly Foster Farms) are less likely because IU has played there in the last six years. The Quick Lane Bowl will certainly have Michigan State at the top of their list because of their proximity to Detroit and given that Michigan State isn't attractive a get this year, that bodes well for Indiana in that the Big Ten might see this as an opportunity not to waste a year putting Michigan State in a better bowl and losing them for that bowl in the next few years as Michigan State is likely to be more attractive in the coming years than this year. The Gator Bowl makes sense, IMO. Honestly I think the Quick Lane or Gator bowl are the most likely since we've been to the Redbox and Pinstripe.
  24. It might have been on display for the whole country, but I doubt many outside of Indiana watched. Anyone wanting to watch Big Ten football was watching Michigan/Ohio State.
