  1. Utah State hits a big 3, New Mexico State misses one. Utah State up 3 with possession, 47 seconds left.
  2. Utah State within 2 now, 5 minutes left.
  3. Oregon State beats Stanford, 68-65. Not a good time for a Stanford loss to a lower tier Pac 12 team.
  4. The win by Washington was their first road win in conference....now are 4-13 in conference play. Bad, bad loss for ASU.
  5. Stanford misses a shot, Oregon State rebound. Stanford foul. OSU hits first free throw. Oregon State up 2 with 4 seconds left and one free throw to go. Washington up 7 with 25 seconds left. Bad loss for Arizona State.
  6. Oregon State 66-65 with 17 seconds left. Time out. Stanford ball. Washington up 5 with possesssion, 1:15 to go.
  7. Oregon State now only up 1 with 1:46 left.
  8. Arizona State down 6 with 2 minutes left.
  9. Arizona State regains a 1 point lead. Oregon State up 6. Memphis up 15. New Mexico State up 6 on Utah State.
  10. Washington now on a 21-4 run at Arizona State. Washington up 69-65, Arizona St time out, 8:02 left.
  11. Conference tournament game for Utah State, correct? Would have to think a loss moves them out with no chance to recover.
  12. Washington and Arizona State tied with 9 minutes left. Oregon State up 10 on Stanford with 9 minutes left. Memphis up 11 with 10 minutes against Wichita State.
  13. 10-0 Washington run. Now down just 61-58 to Arizona State.
  14. Memphis up a 12 with 13 minutes left against Wichita State.
  15. Arizona State up 9 at home against Washington with 14 minutes left. Stanford losing by 6 to Oregon State with 11 minutes left.
  16. I'm rooting for Houston to win the conference to avoid a stolen bid. If not them, Wichita State. It's a funny conference because of the there is a four game separation from 1st to 7th but a three game separation from 7th to 8th. The bottom four teams in the conference is just really bad and have helped inflate everyone's win totals. Of course you could say something similar about the Big Ten (6 game seperation between 1st and 12th, 5 between 12th and 13th) but Big Ten teams only benefitted by playing Nebraska and Northwestern in basically 3 out of 20 conference games. In the AAC, it's more like 7 out of 18 against the bottom four.
  17. Wichita State started the game up 7-0 at Memphis. Memphis now up 18-11. Bracketmatrix has Wichita State as fifth team above the cut. Memphis only in 1 out of 86 brackets and not really even on the bubble.
  18. Factually, Lunardi had us at a 10 seed before we played at Purdue and at Illinois....we lost both and he moved us up to 9. We beat Minnesota and then he drops us down to an 11 and one of last four in. Simply put, he's bad at his job. Check the bracketmatrix rankings over the last five years....he's 55th out of 133. Check out this 'website' of the guy who is ranked exactly one spot below him: http://raleighwxmodels.com/awhuffma/bracketology/bracketology2019.html The dude is Jimmy the Greek, who would go on CBS and pick point spread winners at a 50% rate. Lunardi is great at calling coins heads or tails exactly fifty percent of the time.
  19. I think the NCAA stopped looking that closely at head to head because the logic breaks down when comparing more than two teams.
  20. It was kind of like the Great Khali talking to Rey Mysterio.
  21. I'd bet money on Rutgers losing at Purdue. They are 1-11 away from home this year. Considering that we are 4-8 and we are horrible on the road, I'd have to say the 1-11 mark is more than concerning.
  22. Yes, although Nebrakska is at 194 and if they drop below 200, they are a Quad 4.
  23. UPS -- where do you have Oklahoma? I can't see why they are safely in. Bracketmatrix is getting updated now from this morning's ratings and both IU and Oklahoma are listed as 10s, but Oklahoma is rated as the first 10 and IU the last. I simply can't fathom that.
  24. Florida State leads for a total of twenty seconds as they come back and beat Notre Dame. The Irish had a 61-48 lead before giving up 13 straight points. Seminoles make a put back with 3.8 seconds left to break a 66-66 tie. Irish have a half court shot go off the back of the rim at the buzzer that would have won it. Probably keeps Notre Dame from getting any talk about at large.
  25. I am going to the Big Ten tournament on Thursday and Friday. My feeling is that if I see IU play, they are a lock to be in the tournament because that would mean they had 20 or 21 wins. I am the key, ladies and gentlemen,
