    Yes, should have been a flagrant on Leal. But I have no idea where the announcer is saying 'it was a foul on Leal and a hook and hold' before that. Leal's arms were literally extended straight up and Furst pulled him down (also gave him an accidental shot in the head as well).

    McCollum is definitely the anti-Fran in terms of play style. If McCollum doesn’t win, it would be a brutal style to watch. That said, an Iowa move makes sense. Risk matches reward there.

    There were two issues at the time -- first was IU didn't like his background and second was that it obviously clear he coveted the Texas job and was likely going there. The first one was kind of irrelevant at the time for IU because of the second. The first one is even more relevant now.

    Michigan doesn’t make exceptions for transfers unless they are grad transfers. Not the same as northwestern but there are limits. If Danny Wolf had been Joe Schmoe from Auburn instead of an Ivy League guy, it might have been an issue.
