  1. That random dude probably scored a couple of baskets on IU today.
  2. I haven't seen that. If anything, he seems to be trying to put too much on his plate -- trying to do too much. Never thought I would say this, but Galloway looks disinterested.
  3. 4D chess: IU wrapping up quad 1 losses, trying to impress the CFP committee.
  4. I do feel for Malik because he has been the one guy who is giving everything he has. Sometimes that translates to trying to do too much but he can't control the makeup of the time nor the coaching. Of course now we get to come off of a performance as bad as we've seen under Woodson (which is saying something) to face an angry Gonzaga squad.
  5. Is this in reference to ignored by IU admin or in March?
  6. One positive note about the CFP rankings.....it was Indiana 10, Boise State 11, Clemson 12 instead of Boise State 10, Indiana 11, and Clemson 12. Two differences: In the seeding holds, IU would play #7 instead of #6 but the bigger advantage is that that means the committee is recognizing at least a little more difference between IU and Clemson than if they had put IU at 11 and Clemson right behind.
  7. Bottom line is regardless of the reason, they weren't ready to play. And I could not have imagined Galloway and Carlyle being as bad as they've been this year. The problem is that who in the hell do you play even if you weren't playing them? I am in agreement with LCS that Leal does need more run than he gets but he's not a guy who is going to add much offensively from the perimeter (not because he can't shoot, but that he doesn't get shots). I like Tucker, but not sure he's a 2 and his game is mid range, not perimeter. Cupps isn't going to help out much at this point in time. Rice was bad today but he's looked okay prior to this.
  8. Woody would probably only be mad if Leal and Galloway were at tables next to each other.
  9. Maybe. We sure didn't have it today, so maybe we needed to play until it was tomorrow.
  10. It was a game of runs. Louisville went on a 52-25 run to start the half and we finished on a 7-0 run to pull within 28. Simply ran out of time.
  11. Tom Crean >>>>> Mike Woodson. And that's not complimenting Crean, just stating a fact. Crean would at least use the money to make a balanced team and would listen to his assistants.
  12. No. He had been good defensively (until today). But offensively, he offers nothing....in particular, he will offer nothing the way Woodson plays him. He was much more of a two level guy at Stanford but in this offense the inside is so clogged he can't drive. But I'm sure Woodson promised him a starting spot so this is what we are stuck with even if getting him coming off the bench could get him going.
  13. Why is it out of bounds to criticize Gabe Cupps?
  14. Odds they put the kid with glasses in next?
  15. Two years and they still haven't tried to fix Cupps floating on his jumper.
  16. That team at least had a reason to be bad.
  17. Just hope to God Gonzaga beats West Virginia.
  18. Too bad you can't always coach against Kenny Payne.
  19. *glances at Louisville's completely new roster* "it was hard to prepare for Louisville because they are so different than last year".
  20. Last year it was Matt Bynington. He went 32-4 and beat both Michigan State and Wisconsin.
