My high schools coach has a rule about accessories and hair cuts and beards. The reason for it is "so we look like an actual team". Similar to the Knight rule exceptions were made for medical purposes but that's it. None of our players cared tho and I doubt any of the IU players really care that much or they'd try to change it

If they give the bball team no scholarshipsthey will prob just do what Miami did back in the day and offer them track scholarship

So I was talking to one of my friends who is a purdouche fan and I said IU is going to be good next year. But he said a coach doesn't make a difference. While we were in high school we had a coach exactly like crean and he just had all the players jack up threes and we had two straight 0-21/23 seasons. Then our school fired that coach and brought back our retired coach who has over 300 wins, actually held players accountable, had an actual* offense and focused on defense. He said there is no correlation between them. I don't know how someone who first hand witnessed how much a coach can change a culture and team. Not really miller related other than the fact that we went from an incompetent coach who just wanted threes to a coach that holds players accountable and makes them defend but didn't really know where else to put it. That and I just wanted to share how oblivious some Purdouche fans really are

He didn't get it done in the playoffs is the main reason so I have no doubt in my mind that he'd fire someone for not getting it done in the regular season.
