I want Creany boy gone just as much as the next but I'll still be hoping we win the B1G tourney so we get into the dance. I'm sure I speak for every IU fan when I say March without Indiana sucks. Just rooting for teams playing against UK is not enough. I need my Hoosiers to look forward to.

I'm no lawyer but Glass is. If Wilson was really treating his players the way it was reported, he needed to go - for legal reasons if nothing else. The university would have been sued. So I'd hardly say he forced Wilson out. Wilson made his own bed.

I went over there and checked out out the 247 thread. 0708 may be right but even he says he doesn't know what to think or believe. He may have sources but I mean the guys avatar is a picture of himself. If he's leaked info in the past I feel like the IU admin would have found out who this guy is by now and advised him to stop. Who knows.

I agree! That's some pretty specific info. He's either full of it or is highly connected and I have a hard time believing someone that connected would be posting on an internet message board, in the middle of a day, in the middle of the week.

A comment like that makes me question this guy's connections. I mean, he'd have to be incredibly connected to get information like that. Like friends with our AD. Come on. Idk who our next coach will be but this guy seems to be acting like he's one step away from being in the room with our AD.

You think fans care more about the money IU makes than Championships?

If Crean is coaching IU next year, or worse extended, Glass needs to go. Championships need to be the #1 goal for IU basketball - if he believes Crean is the guy to bring banner 6 - he's worse than incompetent, he's delusional.

This makes it seem like Fred can't push his personal relationship with Crean aside - a MAJOR problem. What has he seen to think Crean will bring us a Championship that the rest of the fanbase hasn't seen? I don't care how nice he is, I don't care how intense he is during practice and in games - the results aren't good enough. Period. He's had plenty of time and has done ok but Crean's ability to take us to the next level just isn't there. If Crean is given an extension - Glass needs to be fired immediately.

I'm curious as to why someone wouldn't like Hoiberg? He's failed in the NBA with my Bulls but he was a SOLID college coach well on his way to winning a championship IMO. I'd take him in a second.

It wouldn't be the hire the fanbase wants/needs but I wouldn't view it as a bad hire - at all.
