watching ISU play Auburn in a preseason tournament in class and i just watched Brenton Scott airball a wide open three and I swear I almost picked up my computer and threw it across the classroom

I think tonight will be comparable to an Indiana football game. I think we will come out giving them all they can handle but then we'll run out of gas down the stretch especially without a go to scorer.

Watching some Duke highlights from their first two games I don't think there is a single player on our roster that can check Marvin Bagley.

I think the improvement and learning curve will be very visible this year. We should see significant improvement a month from now and then I think we will see more improvement a month after that. I'm gonna go with 19 wins right now but I think that number could fluctuate. I actually think we will compete well with Seton Hall tomorrow night if we play with confidence. Pulling off a win would be huge and would definitely send this season in the right direction.

I will say that there was a good amount of people there on Friday night but us getting smacked kinda flattened the atmosphere.

I think it is a bold statement to complain about the Assembly Hall atmosphere because of a Sunday night game against Howard. It also doesn't help that IUDM was this weekend so a lot of students were probably either worn out from that and sleeping or catching up on the homework they couldn't do while at the marathon.

Has Archie only been able to start implementing his system since fall practice started? I know they do summer workouts obviously but are there restrictions to what they can do then?

One thing with Devonte is that he seems to be much more aggressive than Newkirk or Johnson. He is great at feeding the post but sometimes it feels like he is doing to much with his passes. There were a few tonight and friday that if he just threw a chest pass we would've had a wide open shot but instead he tried to throw some flashy bounce passes
