    Maybe a prisoner of the moment and not the most exciting name, but I think Chris Collins would do really well here. People forget how hard it is to win at NU. And he’s generally done it with “meh” talent. Still just 49…

    Agreed. Plus how different could this year have looked with Jakai Newton? Not saying he'd be a superstar by any means but one more viable/explosive guard

    Yep, I noticed he was born in Madison, wasn't sure how important that was. He was fired after being a #3 seed in the Dance at Texas. Upset by #14 Abilene Christian, but still!

    This might get some eyerolls, but any thoughts on Shaka Smart? Still just 46 years old, teams play really hard, would bring a lot of missing energy to the program.... hiccup at Texas but has proven he can win in a big conference so far at Marquette.... Top 40ish KenPom Defensive rating nearly every year since taking the UT job.... #7 in Offensive efficiency last year... just a thought

    Did it? Collier coached at Nebraska for 6 years in between his Butler HC and Admin stint. Plus those guys are/were actual ADs as opposed to advisors. Actually wanted/needed the career where Woody can fade into retirement

    I agree 100% on this. I also think there’s no chance in hell Woody sticks around to be an advisor if we “gently” push him out. Maybe I’m wrong

    I don't doubt this at all, and know @Chris007 has said the same multiple times, but if we didn't have a solid backup plan in case the HEAD COACH OF THE BOSTON CELTICS changed his mind about returing to a COLLEGE PROGRAM. that is absolutely insane to me.
