I never like it when a Mod or a regular poster gets personal. No need for it. That said I think for the most part the Mods here do a great job. Believe me I've seen a lot worse.

Yea, I'm not arguing with you. I agree these three are issues. But, they haven't been dealt with, evidently.   Edit. Selfish play must be dealt with by the staff. We watch our rival coach to the south deal with a new roster of kids every season with one eye on the NBA. They usually play defense from the start and end up in a final four. It can be done.

We know JBJ was promised minutes as primary ballhandler to help him get to the next level. WHY?    Recruiting promises made that get in the way of team building.

Troy has had off court issues, never played defense and been out of control since he got here but continued to start and play a bunch of minutes.  WHY?   Did we promise Uncle Boo we would get him to the next level?

Crean is in control. If he allowed Yogi to be a problem for 4 years he deserves what he gets.   I go back to what promises were made during recruiting to Yogi, Troy and JBJ.

Having Skjodt and Nunn behind the bench for that debacle certainly won't help Crean. Any other boosters at the game?

I absolutely think this is an issue with Bryant. And, I believe he is being coached to stay out of foul trouble. We saw it with Cody. No backup in the low post.

So where do we go from here? The IU basketball I grew up watching could look pretty bad in the non con. sometimes but you would see improvement throughout the course of the season. The last 8 years we've consistently watched teams trend downward over the course of a season. The team typically looks tired and uninterested at tourney time. This team looks uninterested right now. Any reason to believe we get better in conference?
