Did Dolson get paid (reduced buyout) for writing that tripe?

As I heard it.. after the introductions and pleasantries, Ferguson asked her to leave the room so the men could finalize the deal. BTW, not only was she Brad's wive, she's a lawyer and was his agent.

And we though last year's Senior Day was a crapfest... this one will be epic on so many levels.

So much for fiscal responsibility... does the BoT not have a fiduciary responsibility to the University and the taxpayers of Indiana? Is this simple a case of bad management, or is it malfeasance and corruption? I'd love to see this investigated... and prosecution if any wrong-doing that is uncovered.

I'll believe it when I see it. This while thing has been a giant clusterf**k... starting 4 years ago when he was announced as the coach. Then three years of barely getting by... but getting blown out more often that he should have... to be "retained" last year for the massive crapfest that he's given us so far... His attitude has been abrasive, full of hubris. His coaching has ranged from uninspired to abysmal. He doesn't bother reading the room because he sees himself as the smartest person in it. He's been protected for 4 years by Buckner and Ferguson. He's been supported by an twitter army of bots. Now he's done - leaving one way or another. Probably. Maybe. He was certainly not worth the investment, but he managed to pocket some $20M for showing us who he truly is - an entitled, abrasive nepo baby... Just. Go. Away.

We're getting there... may take another month or so, but we'll get there eventually.

Yeah, I could actually see that happening... not like they've done enough damage to the program already... But didn't someone (Chris or Jerry) indicate that the guarantee for $5M in NIL funding was in place in an ongoing manner? Wonder how those two things jibe...

At this point, I'm good with either. Woodson continues to bring this raining down on himself... IMO, he will face the wrath of the fanbase if he continues to be on the sidelines... and he will have to concede defeat to quit and walk away... either way, I see that his reputation and legacy have been tarnished beyond repair... and it's 100% his doing.

And remember, 5 of the remaining 8 games are at SSAH... so that's 5 more opportunities for Woodson to face an increasingly more toxic environment each time out... gonna be a bumpy ride.

And I do agree with you, that is wrong on every level... there's no place for that in sports or society at large.

Woodson is getting the money regardless...

I see it as a ham-fisted attempt by the IU administration to head off a toxic display at the UM game. I also see it, true to form, as Woodson trying to get ahead of any announcement and control the spin... and it looks like the thing the IU admin feared the most is now upon us. Hey, Mike, be careful what you ask for... you just might get it.

None of this is about race... it's about ability, attitude, and performance. Woodson has failed on all three. He should never have been hired after a mediocre NBA coaching career, and definitely should not have been brought back for year 4. He's an abject failure as a college coach, and is, IMO, being judged on that basis alone.

Well, if this is "new news", then tomorrow should be interesting for all parties concerned...

Not surprising... I've been off that cesspool for over 10 years... would possibly miss Woodson more than I have FB, TBH*. * neither would be missed at all
