Not sure how that could possibly be true... but then again, I've been wrong before - lots of times.

This is the same staff that thinks after 24 games that we're a "young team", that "we just gotta get back to work" and "we just gotta get over the hump"... in other words, they have no freaking no clue what they are doing or what they know.

Why not? They've both been pretty much asleep at the wheel for a couple of years now... all season long this year for sure...

The only shakeup I am pulling for is at the top of the food chain here... Woodson... It would interesting to hear if it is Gallo and why he would feel unsupported by Woodson after Woodson whiffed on starting guards from the portal because of Gallo... which makes that whole narrative (new guards afraid to go up against X and Gallo) seem even more far-fetched.

Woodson won't take another job - that would interfere with his nap time... and he needs the whole $12.5M for green fees, wine and cigars...

Crean took Max Bielfeldt as a grad transfer from Michigan for the 2015-16 season... Curious how feelings toward one of our own who left would differ from feelings for one who became one of our own... But yeah, the Purdue angle would suck hard...

I don't see Pearl coming here... or the administration even making the call... Pearl is a much better coach that Woodson, but there is the age thing... Pearl is only a few years younger than Woodson, so what's Pearl's longevity here? Do we want to end up with another "bridge" or "transitional" coach in an older guy like Pearl or are we looking for a younger guy with the chops to deliver over a 20-25 year period like RMK? Of course there are very few guarantees in this business... IMO, Dusty is a significantly better choice based on his experience and relative youth...

Agreed... with no games this week, there's very little new stuff too complain about... but with Woodson coaching vs Northwestern at home, it will pick back up...

Agree... culture, style is part of it... and Woodson's lack of effort on the recruiting trail... I've read that he thought that Indiana would draw the recruits... probably moreso with him, a mediocre NBA coach from 10 years back at the help...
