The power conferences will be the ones making the rules, and I doubt they care much about the competition of mid majors. I like your optimistic view though
Illinois stands out as easily the best 3 seed. Could have (maybe should have) been a 2 seed if they didn't crash a bit in the second half of the conference slate.
Yeah Queens doesn't look like they can get enough stops to do anything than hang around. Hoping for Miami to move through in the late game, as I could see them giving Purdue trouble in 2nd round.
Yep. He was a GA under Huggins at UC. Elevated Youngstown St from absolute trash to respectable. He is from Ohio. Seems like a natural fit unless someone like UNC comes calling.
UK fans are already fed up with Pope. Hiring a beloved former player is something all these programs have to do to realize its usually an awful idea (unless you happen to land a stud like Scheyer).
My guess: It will be partially blamed on the absence of Caleb Wilson (sorta valid, as that dude is a baller), and he will get the Mike Woodson "one more chance" year
He seemed to be visibly frustrated with his bench role down the stretch of the season. Its unfortunate that Conerway got injured, but Enright was just a better fit for our style of play. Throwing games is crazy, but I do think he was clearly pissed.
Darius Acuff is so polished offensively. I know a lot of the hype has centered on Dybantsa, Peterson, and Boozer, but if Acuff slips to 7 or so in the next draft, some team is going to have a steal.
