I am a fan of the 5 to play 5 model. Once you are first listed on a college roster, the "clock" begins and despite injury, leave, or anything else, thats all you get. No age rule, as there would be so many exemptions it would get ridiculous. This would allow for religious mission and military service to work within the confines of the 5 year rule. Injured? That's why everyone gets a "grad year". Injured multiple times? Sorry to sound harsh, but thats life. They would still get paid well through NIL and (hopefully) get a degree.

Agree here. I bet we see 3-4 transfers out. Sisley and Ristic seem likely. Maybe Drake and/or Harris as well. Either way we will need probably 3 big time transfers in to avoid disaster with the pressure already on DeVries.

8 or 9 seems about right for LSU. They have talent but establishing a system with mostly new players could take a year or 2. 10.5 is where I thought as well. Stay healthy and we probably only drop 1 or 2 of our difficult games.

Early in the year, Flory was higher up the draft boards so I figured he would leave. Kind of slipped as the season went along despite having a pretty good year, like you said indicative of a very deep draft. I agree that if he can secure the bag, he probably plays in college next season.

Sampson, while an elite coach, absolutely had to be fired. You can argue the rule he broke was dumb (and I would agree with you), but it was still a rule for which he continued to break even after the Oklahoma infractions dropped. He received a 5 year show cause for the violations at IU, so there was no way in hell we were keeping him.

I mean...Archie got clapped at home by Indiana State in game 1. This game was horrendous, but that one might have been one of the more embarrassing moments I can remember.
